Шикарный рогалик для ВР. Визуал, саунд дизайн, события, общий вайб - тот самый стелларис, только в компактном формате. Игра, где вы играете за тот самый научный корабль, сканящий все подряд (только тут еще и пушки нацепили).
Its like FTL, with a Stellaris skin and an intuitive/competent VR interface. you're managing a battlespace from a fixed perspective, so its not like sitting on the bridge, but its still a fun little game.
Amazing fun rougelite set in space with a great art style and fun gameplay mechanics that feel very tactical. This game is great for sitting down and rewards you when you die in game. It's neat and encouraging and best of all visually stunning <3
Overall, I like the game. I have been playing with one of the OG Vive setups, so not sure how it matches up on other hardware. Gameplay itself can be a little bit repetitive, but I view it in the same terms as almost any other Roguelike where that's part of the charm, and it adds enough variation with enemy spawns, asteroid positions, and loot tables that it hasn't felt stagnant to me. There are also a few bugs that need sorting. First of all, there are three possible ships that you progressively unlock by beating the game with previous ships. The third ship, called the Iris, is missing most of it's weapon descriptions. Instead, it literally just says 'description' in the box, so clearly someone forgot to update that before this game was released. Further, I've never been able to select/change the colors on the Iris. It's like the buttons don't even exist. Additionally, and this makes no sense to me, the button to back out of some menus will occasionally disappear. If it does so in the hangar, I can just cycle between the hangar and research menus once to bring it back, but if it happens in the data files, I can't actually get it to return, necessitating a force close.
Ghost Signal is a good example of a basic rogue-lite formula implemented well. There's not that much to each run, but the core gameplay loop is fun and engaging and each ship and run offers just enough challenge and variety to keep you coming back. The VR controls, look and feel are very well implemented. The backdrops look amazing in VR, and the ship controls handle well with the motion controllers. I played it via link cable using Quest 3 and have really enjoyed my time here. A steal at the price it was recently on sale for.
I think this game is underrated. It feels like a VR roguelite: fight, die, keep some progression for upgrades to get better starting loadouts, then go again. The deeper you get, the more you carry over until you eventually clear it. I was able to finish the game 50–60 minutes, but i died plenty of times before that to get my stats up. It sounds weird, but the loop actually works once you get past the rough start and clunky controls in the first 45 minutes.
I think for a under $10 game it's pretty darn good. :) Recommendations: __Direction control - This was my main complaint. Just not really sure until after you sent the ship what direction you were selecting. It would seem to move then snap. Very difficult to manage and when one major piece is not to get hit. Steering should be very good. __Graphics - First I want to say I think the graphics are good. But for those that have stronger PC it's nice to flex more. :) Everything else I thought was unique, different and interesting. Good story, upgrade path was interesting. My Specs: i9 9900k 32GB RAM 1TB M2 5080 GPU Quest 3 (wifi)

This is a surprisingly good game. At first I thought it might be too simplistic. But it's not. Very polished and fun little game.
