Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 12 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

As someone who played a lot of side-scrolling / metroidvania Gestalt: Steam and Cinder is probably one of the more polished ones in terms of art style as compared with other titles I've managed to play. (ofc excluding HK or HK:SS) While quite on the shorter end it was pretty fun and quite straightforward. Difficulty does spike much but overall a good game to get on sale. Wishing for a part 2 as it ends on a cliffhanger. Final Rating - 7/10
I love metroidvania games, and this one is a gem. The art style is nice in the eyes, the story while not ground breaking, is pretty decent. The character sprites are nice as well as the enemy’s. Honestly it’s a steal on sale and worth it even not.

Pues esta bueno
Well, this was longest demo I have ever played. It is a very easy and forgiving metroidvania that ends right when the story starts to finally get going. I guess I recommend it but know that it is short for a game in this genre, very easy, and the map is very minimalist; you do get upgrades for it as the game goes along that show collectibles however.
good game. combats pretty fun and the storys good. ending kinda sucked and was a bit sudden but the game was pretty good either way
Excellent !!!
I can only describe this as the perfect metroidvania. The pixel art is fantastic, the movement is quick and responsive, and the combat is simple but satisfying with varied enemies to engage with. Exploration was a highlight, with every ability allowing for more secrets to be discovered. The only negative is the story. I completely skipped through the enite thing because I didn't care at all. If that bothers you, don't play this. But if you're looking for a mechanically satisfying metroidvania, look no further.
I have attempted to play this game on 3 separate occasions. I have one hour logged total. The combat is ♥♥♥♥, the writing is ♥♥♥♥ (and intrusive), the level design is EXTREMELY ♥♥♥♥. The art style is pretty great, at least. shoulda just made a visual novel or more traditional RPG tbh. It tries to be a story driven metroidvania, and it fails at being good at either aspect. Maybe it gets better eventually, I'll probably never know. Am I being too harsh on this game? Absolutely, but it was gifted to me so I felt compelled to at least try to play it, moreso than I would have otherwise. I also really hate games with bad writing that is also intrusive.
