About
Inspired by games such as: Ready or Not, Ground Branch, CoD: Modern Warfare and Insurgency: Sandstorm. GERONIMO is a highly realistic, tactical and immersive CQB shooter that has been built from the ground up for Virtual Reality. Play Solo, or with your friends and carry out your operations through our missions, some even inspired by real world raids.
Whether deploying solo or with a full 6-player squad, Geronimo brings unforgiving tactical shooter gameplay into VR, where careful movement, clear communication, and calculated teamwork are essential. Train with your team in dedicated practice environments, including shooting ranges with dynamic targets and customizable killhouses built for refining your tactics before the real mission begins.
In GERONIMO, your equipment is built around how you want to operate. Shape your operator’s look, choose your clothing and armor, then fine-tune your weapons and rig with a high level of control. Position pouches where they make sense, configure your vest for the role you’re playing, and set up each weapon platform with the attachments and layout that fit your style.
Every choice has a practical impact once you’re in VR. A heavier setup can slow you down and make long engagements more demanding. Poor optic placement can make target acquisition harder. A full-length rifle may give you reach in open spaces, but become awkward when clearing tight rooms. Your loadout is not just cosmetic — it defines how you move, fight, and survive.
Every weapon is built with a focus on physical interaction, mechanical detail, and believable handling in VR. Firearms are not treated as simple props — they are systems you manipulate by hand, with actions such as manual bolt locking, magazine changes, charging, and slide operation designed to feel deliberate and responsive.
A high level of animation and interaction work supports each weapon platform, from carefully authored hand poses to moving parts that behave as expected during operation. Slides cycle with accurate barrel movement, controls are placed and handled with intention, and small details are modeled so that using a weapon feels tactile rather than abstract. The result is a gunplay system where precision, familiarity, and muscle memory matter.
Sharpen your skills outside of live missions with dedicated IPSC-style courses and a range of killhouse options built for practice, speed, and friendly competition. Run timed shooting challenges to test accuracy under pressure, compare routes with teammates, and refine the fundamentals that matter most in VR: target acquisition, weapon handling, movement, and control.
Killhouses offer a more tactical way to train, with layouts suited for room clearing, angles, communication, and close-quarters decision-making. Whether you are warming up before an operation, drilling with your squad, or competing for the fastest clean run, Geronimo gives players flexible training spaces where improvement is measurable and rivalry stays friendly.

I'm enjoying the game a lot on my Quest 2 using Virtual Desktop app. Only issues i'm having currently is that the game crashes when trying to join a public lobby. Other than than that, game runs smoothly at 90fps for me. If you experience a lot of camera shaking, disable OpenXR. 4060TI Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400 CPU @ 2.90GHz (2.90 GHz) 16GB RAM
Like most early access titles, GERONIMO still needs some polish and tweaks. BUT, in it's current state it feels very good to play. The gun handling is smooth despite some trouble with the mags, every gun feels nice, the customization is very impressive, the maps offer a diverse type of combat situations and overall... the game is just really fun. Can't wait to see what the devs have in store for this game!

good game but too meny trollers add report system
Playing on a Quest 3 via steam link The game runs really good all things considered, the maps load crazy quick which i've never experienced in a VR title. Weapon assembly is a little wonky but the fundamentals are there, AI OPFOR "from what i've seen so far" don't really conduct any flanking maneuvers they kinda just shoot at you and retreat. But thats just from my experience of playing 2 maps. Most of my time was spent creating my weapon system and chest rig.
Very Buggy
Do not buy this game yet unless you're wanting to support the dev. Too many bugs, jank and not enough to do, Dev's, look at ITR2 their vest customization, that's for me the best framework to go off. I will def come back in the future, even if the price gets increased. some bugs to report and some requests. 1. when trying to grab ammo from a box, the magazine glitches, and you'll have to grab it twice, otherwise you can't take it 2. loading magazines into your weapon often doesn't work, it either glitches and floats next to the gun, then you'll need to eject the magazine and reload, or often doesn't want to go into the gun and you have to try it several times. 3. there are enemies you cannot kill, I shot 2 full magazines into one guy, and he stood there, after 20 seconds he shot me in the back, after I assumed he was dead. My buddy was spectating, so it wasn't my imagination 4. Gun customization is fun, but getting the gun on the gun holder is a pain, that box needs to become twice as large 5. the enemies take too many bullets, I didn't count how many, but I would prefer a more realistic model 6. detailed item description would be good to have, specially with scopes and laser sights, what does what 7. some kind of medic supplies so you can heal yourself or your buddy would be nice
is it worth ₤15? Yes absolutely the game functions well and does its intended purpose providing a very realistic and tactical VR shooter with many guns ranging from assault rifles, snipers, pistols and submachine guns, every single gun in this game has exceptional gunplay with rarely any bugs or glitches happening with them in single player. However there are some bugs in the game which can lead to some frustrating moments such as my breaching ram or sledgehammer clipping through doors and most times can not be pulled back through which is very frustrating while trying to clear rooms and such. The multiplayer in the game right now its extremely buggy with my teammates not spawning in with there gear no utility no guns nothing which leaves them stuck and often having to restart the whole mission. Looking past all the bugs and glitches the game itself is very fun and I do enjoy it thoroughly 8/10 right now as I can not wait for the game to progress and get better .
I'd Say this game is very good for gun Mechanics and Handling Training, This is an EARLY ACCESS Playthrough of mine so there is bugs within the game like magazines falling through the floor when you're Training, enemies being able to see you through the door, no physics between hands and objects, hands clipping through guns (cosmetic issue), and More... This game is similar to other mil-sims like OPERATOR, Ground Branch, Ready or Not, and more based off gameplay and otherwise breaching tactics. I wish there is an update for more accessories and custom loadouts without having to reset your gun every time. I do hope modding comes to the game as there will be no Manual of Arms as stated on their discord, they wont be adding anything unnecessary like gun jams and wtv. For Modding, I hope there will be custom guns and custom attachments and gear for your outfit and likings. So far this game is good for the price, Graphics isn't much of a issue other than frame dropping every once in a while due to optimization. IMO!!!! The game is Currently Early Access, Don't take my words accountable of this gaming being good, its just through my vision of what i saw.
It's a solid game, very polished gun play, but very bland as it is now. I wouldn't recommend the game in it's current state.
This is a horror game.
