Geno The Fallen King

I've played A TON of indie platformers on Steam & this is one you will not feel bad about. :) Nothing really major to complain about; environments could use a bit more detail / sprucing up.

I've been following the dev since this game was in its first test play stages and its truly blossomed into something amazing, this platformer, its so intensely detailed and you can tell how much love and soul went into this project, each and every one of the level themes gives me pure joy due to how well each tone lines up with the other. every part of this game has been put together by a developer who is definitely going far in the future.

So, a few things stopped me from playing past level 4. One, and the biggest, the menu music plays over the level music. It's really jarring and annoying. Also, the menu's themselves are broken.

It's a very cute 2D platformer, and the pixel art and music is amazing!!! definitely worth the price.

Geno The Fallen King is a great platformer with great music, awesome pixel art, excellent level design, really cool and cute character designs, very satisfying sound effects, and in general is just a really fun game that really challenges you and doesn't hold back. I've been following this developer while play testing this game for almost 3 years now and it has changed so much since then. You can really feel the hard work and dedication that this man has put into his projects and then some. And he's still adding more content to the game. If that doesn't scream dedication to something that a person truly cherishes then I don't know what will. You really do need to get this game if you are into platformers like me. You won't regret it I promise.

Great game design, great sprite and level art. If and when this game finds the right people its going to go triple A. Music is on par with some Beethoven ass ♥♥♥♥. All and all good game. I'll say this, if you dont got a nut sack, you will after playing this game.

I enjoy this game very much and its great to see how far it came since i first played it and i know the developer enjoys working on this game very much and he will do his best to refine it as much as he can, i look forward to seeing this game get more updates and content. If you like fast paced platformers then i definitely suggest Geno.

A genuinely fun platforming game, with nice and interesting sprite art, fantastic music and soundtrack and interesting small puzzle mechanics. Encourages you to either take your time or speedrun depending on your preference and while the boss fights are somewhat simplistic, the designs are great and fit the theme and style of the game. Not extremely difficult and genuinely makes you feel as though every time you die or make a mistake it is your fault, and yours alone. Been keeping up with this games updates for the past couple months and even just in that amount of time it is impressive how much time the developer puts into the game. This seems like a love letter to 2D platformers of old and you can feel it while playing. The game is still a work in progress but I think any fan of 2D platformers should check this game out because to me at least it felt very much worth the spent money.

This game is very cool, a lot of potential for speedrunning. Platforming is really clean and movements are very simple yet precise.
