j'adore ce jeu même si il est un peu vieux. C'est toujours cool d'y jouer et de résoudre les énigmes ! Je trouve sympa le fait qu'il y est des villageois avec des métier préféré.
I feel this is a hidden gem of a game. if your into a virtual villagers esque game, I should say nostalgia plays a huge part for my love for this game due to growing up spending hours in it as a kid. Its nothing spectacular but a fun way to kill some hours and spend time.
This is one of my favorite games. It's been years, and I still replay it. I think about it all the time. It's a relaxing, very cute, there's a little bit of a mystery to solve, so you have some goals, some exploration, but also just very slow-paced relaxing village sim also.
Gemini Lost

RATING: 2.9 MEDIOCRE

(っ^▿^)۶🍸 🌕 🌖🌑🌑🌑 🍺٩(˘◡˘)

o( > ᗜ < )o ₊˚⊹♡ Introduction
Oh boy, let me tell you about Gemini Lost, the game that's just bursting with excitement. I mean, who wouldn't be totally thrilled after getting their hands on this gem, right? After indulging in the Virtual Villager series to the fullest, I couldn't help but be overcome by overwhelming curiosity and decided, against all better judgment, to give Gemini Lost a whirl. And let me tell you, folks, my emotions are absolutely all over the place after playing this masterpiece. If you are a fan of Virtual Villagers, then Gemini Lost may pique your interest. However, I advise you to proceed with caution.
( 。 •̀ ᴖ •́ 。)💢 The Storyline Dilemma (ᴗ_ ᴗ。)
As many others have pointed out, the game lacks substantial content. Despite not achieving all the available accomplishments, I still managed to find some enjoyment in the game by focusing on the storyline. However, I was left dumbfounded and frustrated when the game abruptly ended with a "To be continued" message right after completing the constellation puzzle. After calming myself down, I eagerly searched for the next installment in the series, only to be met with disappointment as I discovered there was none, leaving me with a sense of emptiness. The storyline in Gemini Lost is almost non-existent, making it suitable for those who are not particularly interested in narrative and simply want to relax and have fun. The game fails to provide any explanations about the characters or the equipment, leaving players feeling like they are playing an unfinished product. It seems that the developers themselves are unsure about the direction they want to take with this game. The game description mentions completing tasks and puzzles to find your way home, but it becomes confusing when the first character transported to an unknown land is at risk of dying unless they are given a youth potion. For them, home is where they grew up, but without the potion, they face certain death. This inconsistency leaves players questioning the game's plot, especially since only 12 people can return, and not all characters can be teleported back. If you're not into stories and just want to relax and have fun, this might be the game for you.
(✿◕U◕) ☕A Sarcastically Epic Adventure
The game kicks off with a riveting opening animation, showcasing a bunch of clueless teenagers strolling down the road, completely dumbfounded by a sudden solar eclipse. As if that wasn't enough to baffle them, they spot a mysterious light in the distance. Naturally, their curiosity gets the best of them, and off they go on a wild goose chase to investigate. Lo and behold, what they stumble upon is the remnants of an ancient astrological site, complete with a wheel adorned with fancy constellation paintings. But wait, there's more! Upon closer inspection, our intrepid group realizes that this wheel is actually a teleporter. Talk about a mind-blowing discovery! And, of course, being the mischievous bunch they are, they accidentally activate the darn thing, catapulting themselves into an unknown land and, oh yeah, breaking the teleporter in the process. Smooth move, guys. Now, here's where the real fun begins. It's up to the player to embark on a thrilling quest to locate all 12 elusive zodiac keys, fix the teleporter, and help the characters find their way back home. Well, sort of. Turns out, it's not the original characters who get to enjoy the sweet taste of homecoming, but rather their descendants. But hey, not just any descendants, mind you. Only a select group of 12 lucky individuals get to make the journey back to reality. Talk about playing favorites! So, there you have it, folks. Get ready to dive headfirst into a sarcastically epic adventure, where you'll unravel ancient mysteries, collect shiny keys, and ultimately send a chosen few back to where they belong. Good luck, and may the snark be with you!
✺◟(≧▽≦)◞✺The Good Stuff✺(^▽^✺)
٩(⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)و*̣̩⋆̩* The art was beautiful compared to Virtual Villagers. The visuals had a cute and charming quality, with a simple yet vibrant graphic design. One thing to note is that there was only one piece of music in the game, which unfortunately repeated throughout. ε(´。•᎑•`)っ 💕 One notable feature that I particularly appreciate is the marriage system, which includes an additional marital status. What sets this system apart is the social aspect of marriage, as it takes place in a wedding chapel. The chosen couple then proceeds to a love shack to consummate their union. In Virtual Villagers, there was a nursing period for women after giving birth, but in this game, that aspect was absent. Instead, the newborns would immediately start as children. I appreciated the inclusion of a school system to educate the children, adding a realistic touch to the gameplay. ε(´。•᎑•`)っ 💕 I absolutely love how you can visually track the progress of your characters' work through those nifty blue meters. It's reminiscent of some online games I've played, and it adds an extra level of excitement and satisfaction to the gameplay. ε(´。•᎑•`)っ 💕 The game retains the essence of Virtual Villagers with its Science Upgrades, Tools Making, and Potion Making mechanics. However, what sets it apart are the added mini-games, which inject a refreshing element of excitement and variety. In conclusion, while the game may have its flaws, such as the lack of a compelling narrative, it undeniably offers several enjoyable elements. The visually appealing artwork, the unique marriage system, the inclusion of a school system, and the engaging progress tracking feature all contribute to a more immersive and satisfying gameplay experience.
🕵The Conclusion📝
So, to sum it all up, Gemini Lost has its flaws, such as the lack of a compelling narrative. But it also has some enjoyable elements, like the beautiful artwork, the unique marriage system, the school system like the Virtual Villagers, and the progress tracking feature. If you're looking for a game to relax and have fun with, this might be worth a try! /\_/\ (\ __ /) A__A ( ˶•o•˶) ( •ω• ) ( •⤙• ) ଘ(ა🧋) (ა🍹૮)。 (☕٩ )੭
It's a simple semi-idle time waster with very dated mechanics, but I keep coming back to it because nostalgia and the hope that the "to be continued" will come true. Things I wish they'd fix: 1. birth/death notifications not interrupting the game 2. being able to easily see how many villagers you have on a job 3. easily selecting the villager you want out of a crowd (ex. scientist area)
one of the most amazing games ever
Hra se mi moc líbí je to zábavné....
I absolutely love this game. I first played it back when Big Fish Games was still a website and Steam didn’t exist. Now I bought the game again out of nostalgia, and I’m still in love with it. I just wish they had made a sequel, because this game is awesome!
Nostalgia... Pure nostalgia
The best game when i was young and now i founded this game again, still touch my soul. LOVE this!
