Bought it at 75% off. I played the OG version around 10 times back in the 2010s. I skipped the UE because it was a Microsoft exclusive. At its core, it’s mostly the same game. Technology-wise, it has 21:9 support and DLSS, which are nice additions. But I wouldn’t say this version of the game is the definitive version. However, I also wouldn’t say you should avoid this version in favor of the OG or UE. I hate how The Coalition ruined the series with 4 and 5, and my main complaints are the aesthetic changes as most of the comments stated. Especially the model change for Anya and the removal of the grey filter, which makes the entire game feel more exposed. To the point that I vividly remember the fight with [spoiler]RAAM[/spoiler] being at night, but it becomes dusk in this version. That being said, the game is still, at its core, what I used to love, and I would recommend it to people who are new to the series. Now give us Gears of War 2 and 3. Die Kampange hab ich sehr genossen wie damals zu 360 zeiten einfach cool aber der pvp modus ist wie damals auch der absolut größte haufen Scheiße den ich jemals gespielt habe dieses scheiß wallbouncing nervt so hardcore deswegen ist das spiel für mich nur für die kampange zu empfehlen
I never played a gears game before, this was fun!
Это моя первая игра данной франшизы и как новичку мне хотелось узнать сюжет. Все таки это первая часть. В итоге из сюжета было рассказано ровно ноль. Что за мир? Что за война? С кем война? Что за противник? Какая саранча? Что вообще происходит? Ничего не описывается, не объясняется. Короткая, однообразная, багованная, неудобная. Стрельба посредственная. Враги просто губки для пуль, которые не реагируют на эти самые пули. Управление из каменного века. Система укрытий сделано через жопу. ИИ сломана, так как союзники либо застревают, либо вызывают софтлок в некоторых местах. Противники иногда спавнятся перед тобой. Не рекомендую эту игру к покупке. Особенно за те деньги, которые за нее просят.
