Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Aug 14 → 33.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Multiplayer does not work
The default settings have voice narration. It assumes I'm blind and I cannot read what's on the screen. Let me ask you all a question: How could I possibly play a video game if I was blind? So I go into the settings to turn off voice narration. There isn't just an option to turn it on and off but there is also an option to choose between Eric or Michelle. I want to exit the world now. Good thing here in Canada we have MAID. Bye world.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I preordered this game because it was the only way to play online matches on PC.. then a few months later Delta Online dropped... I want a refund lol
I was a Gears of War fan before the first game came out, I was sitting on my 360 watching all the behind the scenes and stayed a massive fan until Gears 3. This is similar to the Halo Campaign evolved remake, in the sense that it loses all the art design, and botches some of the basics. Whats good? It looks nice sometimes, voices actors and delivery have stayed the same. It is "essentially" the same game as og GOW1. Whats bad? The balance, even in campaign has been lost, the scary aspects and art direction are absent now in favor of unreal engine realism (the OG was on unreal, but had a better color grading and style), bugs are still plenty... and it feels off overall. Conclusion: What can we as fans of the original trilogy do without a current Xbox/game pass? We can get this on sale and spend 8-10 hrs with the campaign and occasionally some vs mode... that's it at the moment... the games we grew up on are going to disappear forever, and when we get them on modern consoles and PC, they will be a shell of their former selves... Never pay full price for cash grab slop, and if you're stronger than me, don't try to relive your childhood through poorly made crap.
Would be significantly more enjoyable if players didn't immediately disconnect from games the second you start losing. Look, this is the 2015 Xbox One port Gears of War: Ultimate Edition brought to PC for a $50 price tag. I expected something of significantly higher quality rather than a game I could find in the $5 bin rotting at Gamestop. They didn't even bother to make improvements to the menu UI, leaving it looking incredibly dated compared to other titles available at the same price. It's probably fine if you just want to play campaign, but as someone who loves Gears multiplayer, this one stinks. Back to Gears 5, I suppose.
There's no split screen couch co-op for PC version. 🤷🏾
I don't normally comment on games in general but this has to be 1 of the biggest pieces of trash I've bought in awhile. I can see why it's on sale, how could you sell something that runs so poorly at any price above 10 dollars? I couldn't even get the sound to work at all either. I've installed and run a lot games and like I said this is just garbage so be careful before you invest your 8 bucks.
Was never able to get to the main menu to even attempt to play. After searching and trying every method to fix the crashes I gave up and requested a refund. Because I was more than 2 weeks past my purchase date Steam refused to refund me. Cool. Can't play and still had to pay for it.
