Very Good Cool And Fun but I couldn't 100% it because World 4 has a Yucky Zone and I'm a Huge Wuss and Sad Edit: I have like a bajillion hours but that's because I keep the game up to listen to the soundtrack lmao so the game's got a baller ost as well as having goated gameplay
! SPOILER FREE TLDR ! Great game with alot of good level gimmicks, level design and boss fights. Despite some things being used more than once, new things are introduced alongside them to keep levels and bosses fresh and that is done incredibly well. ! SPOILERS IN FULL REVIEW ! While I haven't seen everything this game has to offer yet, as I got to the final boss pretty fast by mistake, I've loved what I've played and seen so far. It's an insanely great game with alot of gameplay variety in its level gimmicks, level design and it's boss fights. While it does reuse some enemies quite often, like the yellow robot guy that chases you, they coincide with the level design rather well. I do think the yellow robot guy is a little overused, but he still imposes a fun challenge. You also get more used to avading him in levels overtime, I wouldn't say he feels out of place in the levels I have seen him in. While a character is reused for 3 different bossfights, the brain guy, each of them feel different to one another and manage to top the last. The tonal shift in his third boss caught me off guard, but it was an incredible boss with a good use of the gimmicks seen throughout that area. The one where you have to climb the tower was an incredibly fun one too, and is probably one of my favorite bosses. The final boss also has a similar tonal shift compared to the brain guy in his 2nd phase, which caught me off guard as well due to none of the other bosses I had encountered throughout my playthrough having a 2nd phase. The game does a really good job at exceeding expectations that not alot of other typical platformers manage to do, which is another thing I love about it.

Levels are short boring "one mechanic you've seen somewhere else" gauntlets with no rythm. Vibes are weirdly, understatedly hostile, every bit of positivity has to be strangely cynical or backhanded in some way; I already knew I wasn't going to like the game when it opened with a loading screent that read "loading crap". It's like the dev was ashamed of their own whimsy AS they were making it. Just unpleasant to interface with.
An amazing precision bullet hell platformer. Very reminiscent of something like Super Mario World, secret exits and branching paths in every world. Finding all the collectables was reasonable and fun, levels were short enough that if you missed anything you could run back through it, and it never once felt like unnecessary padding. Every obstacle/challenge felt unique and wacky gimmicks never felt like they overstayed their welcome (except the smiling face that chases you that guy sucks). A must play if you're into challenging platformers!
It is extremely well crafted. the levels are all unique in their challenge. it really feels like bring back that SMB vibe and while its not Kaizo its definitely challenged. the game can last a good amount of hours, it can be tough, almost frustrating, but never anything you want to give up on. that's the thing I really liked was that I wanted to see it all though. Definitely try it out and give it a shot if you think it might be fun its a real gem.
Highly recommended for fans of challenging traditional platformers with a bit of quirkiness to them both mechanically and thematically, e.g. Crash Bandicoot. It's a really excellent development effort. There's a bit of socialist ideological impetus behind the themes involved but it's not obnoxious about it or anything - it's really more "Office Space anti-corporatism" than "arts major demands you absorb their lecture on anarcho-syndicalism" - so definitely still a vibe check pass so far as I'm concerned.
i liked it the pixel art was great and generally really readable the gameplay was sometimes a bit akward but i found it good and the level ideas were fresh and interesting for almost every level great little game
I have become addicted to this game, even tho i started playing yesterday i have 16 hours in it, i didnt expect that from super mario world inspired game since i never was able to get into it, but garbanzo just has the sauce, the comfy, nice, and soft sauce while having very balanced and enjoyable platforming, and extra challanges and secrets for those who seek the dificulty I feels like giant love letter to platformer games, if you wanna try out platformer games garbanzo is for you, and if you already are a veteran in platformer games, garbanzo is for you, also i can play as a dog and that automatically makes it peak
