Is a nice little game, but my only problem, this game habve no campatibility with Proton Linux, is a no sense because is a little game, a little game like this a no working to play on Linux STEAM client. Because of thiis i have deleted this game from my account in 2024.
The storyline could be a little longer, but overall I think it's an outstanding game for such a low price. I really enjoyed the process, the controls had no issues either, the original settings were just right. I can see myself re-play this game later on.
this is a amazing game !

Yet another surprisingly fun and interesting game by one of my favorite indie devs, Akhir Pekan. As you can surmise from the store page, the game focuses around you starting up what could kinda amount to, say, a Chuck E Cheese, from the ground up. Plenty of customization options to choose from, ton of passive and active upgrades including a skill tree and various tools you use. Like the other simulator type games from these devs, not all is normal, per se. One thing you'll notice rather quick is that you have a baseball bat. I'll avoid spoilers, but in the same day you can go from dealing with your store's Wi-Fi going down and managing employee pay to fighting gangsters or defusing a bomb set by a terrorist organization... or dealing with ghosts. Turns out, your store is haunted as well. There's a decent sized area to explore and plenty of side missions and quests as well as an overarching storyline that changes things for your store as you progress. You can work with other store owners to help them get their businesses going again in return for better and higher quality products made available by them. you can also just... grow food and sell it at your house that you can customize at will All in all, plenty of positives. However, there's some negative that bother me quite a lot compared to their other games which almost warrants a negative review: -Unlike every other game, in this one time never stops. You don't have to go to bed, the game keeps going. There's no such thing as store hours. You can manually shut down the store, but it does not have anywhere near the "daily progression" feeling that the other games have due to this. You can feel like you're being rushed constantly due to this as well. -You have to hit people that run out without paying. To avoid triggering some kinda automatic filtering from steam, let's just say that it can be very difficult to target smaller people. You can be looking right at them when trying to hit them and the game won't register it. For me, I have to get in front of them as they're running and crouch to be able to hit them. -There's a major flaw that pops up early game where it can be hard to collect money from people. Sometimes you simply can't collect the money at all as the prompt doesn't appear. There is no workaround or fix for this, and it makes the game exceptionally frustrating. My advice is to only spend money on leveling your scissors up to level 4 and proceeding through the main story as fast as you can until you unlock the piggy bank which negates this glitch entirely since customers deposit their money straight into that instead. -The layout of the town doesn't feel natural. I honestly wish you had a map. There isn't one. -I don't know what it is, but combat doesn't feel as good as in other games. For instance, I haven't been able to properly trigger a parry/counterattack in this game once after 7 hours of play, whereas in the other games there's no issue. -At some point you can get store security to deal with certain problems. However, they react way too slow for issues from things that spawn inside your store (like thieves stealing stuff. they will always mange to grab something before security deals with them, forcing you to redo the setup for something). Security also doesn't do anything for the "annoying kid" problem, which is probably just an oversight. -A MAJOR, gamebreaking problem is that, very early in the main quest, an item you need to proceed requires you to do a ridiculous amount of a math minigame that gives you 3 SECONDS to answer a question with no preparation. If it wasn't for the fact that it provides a multiple choice answer this would be practically impossible for those that aren't good with math or have a disability related to doing quick calculations. In other words, congratulations Akhir, you just completely bricked the game for a lot of people. Who's idea was this? Despite the problems you get enough content that honestly warrants the price being triple what it is. Yes, there's enough content compared to other simulator games by other devs to warrant a $15 price tag as opposed to just $5. If you enjoy this game, I strongly suggest checking out their other games, and visa versa, if you like their other games go ahead and grab this one.
