A car washing simulator
This game follows a formula or template that is getting quite common with early access management games. Order products, unbox said products, use them up, earn money, order more products, and repeat until you have enough money to upgrade your tools and expand your area. While this works well for a game like this, it needs unique and creative additions to really set it apart from all the other games. Thankfully, this game did take a few unique approaches, and the core mechanics work well. The UI is intuitive, and the tutorial gives pretty clear explanations of goals and directions. Though, there's currently no way to change mouse sensitivity, which makes playing difficult. The whole cleaning part is also done well for what it is. You do feel in control when cleaning, and it feels like manual labor. I really liked that faster mouse movement in the same area makes the soap foam up. But an easier way to see which spots are missing to get 100% foaming is definitely needed. I was constantly stuck just under 100%. Another thing I liked is that the game lets you drive your customers cars. The driving feels solid, but I had hoped that smashing up the cars would lead to some sort of penalty or deduction in pay. The cars definitely need some kind of condition system, so you can offer your customers insurance in letting you handle their vehicles. The reputation system is a crucial part of the game, and I hope it gets expanded upon in the full release. Right now it's quite simple, where better ratings bring better customers, but I think it could be more interesting if customers were split into different classes, like lower, middle, and higher. The more expensive the car, the lower the tolerance for mistakes and the higher the risk of damage, but also much higher pay. The collectible cards, I’m not really sure what purpose they serve. They’re just cards with cars on them? Lastly, I want to mention the heavily inflated prices right from the start of the game. Customers gladly pay $300 for a 2 minute wash, and upgrading your first sponge costs $1,000. I don’t see why the prices have to be so high. It could have easily started with $30 for a wash and $100 for that premium sponge upgrade?. All that said, I did enjoy the time i played and I hope I get a chance to play the full release when it drops. _________________________________ Help me out by following my Curator, I’d really appreciate it!!
dünyanın en iyi oyunu
I previously played this game for a total of 10-20 mins and I said that the game felt sluggish. I have decided to try and give it another go to see if my opinion has changed. This time I will go a bit more in depth of some of the issues. I believe the game still feels sluggish specifically with the washing part of the game. Not being able to see where the water will end up going makes it just a "shake your mouse until it hits" kind of game. Now this wasn't to bad but there's also a lot of features in the game that I don't really understand. First of all, upgrades. This is probably the most sluggish feature of them all because upgrades are meant to be important. Now whilst I didn't play a lot and they may get better (I hope) down the road the issues that they currently face is the question "Whats the point in them?" At the beginning you are told to "upgrade your sponge" but if you do this sure it cleans faster (I think I didn't really notice a difference) but why? until you upgrade the customer quality (I'm assuming this will increase the patience meter or whatever the meter is called) you will always get $300. They are in the red: $300 they are in the yellow: $300. So, it feels like just for a minor speed upgrade you are being set back by $1000 for nothing. Second, the "suspicious character" feature. I don't really understand the point in the mechanic. You clean the car ask for them to show the money, they either do a pointless pleading animation (real gangster of them) thinking they could have gotten away with it then give you the money anyway or they just simply ask for an apology probably knocking your rating down. But the thing is you don't face any consequence for accepting them. Like I always clicked show money first and I still had customers coming none stop. Third, like with the upgrades getting entertainment early when it tells you to. Feels like a waste. This is purely because of the fact the reward money does not go up from Yellow - Red. Now they are a few features I didn't like but don't get me wrong if some of these features are worked on for the release then this could be good I mean it's just some small maybe bigger changes to the early game that will make it feel more worth playing more of the game. Adding a small circle base or something to show the water landing area to make it easier to hit the soap bubbles and feel a least a bit smoother of an experience instead of wiggling it around and hoping. Maybe changing the suspicious customer to be a bit more of a bad thing to accept. Because currently there is nothing "suspicious" about them. But I do think this game has a potential for a future simulation. I will keep an eye on it and maybe I will play the full release and see if its any better. Things to quickly note. There is no sensitivity changing slider. This is an issue because well the sensitivity is way too high. I'm not here to 360 no scope off a building. I'm just wanting to clean cars. If there is one then I am blind. Make control bindings. This is a huge, huge issue. Getting in a car is E getting out is 'Escape' this is just weird. Picking up boxes, right click. Opening boxes, F. Interacting with other things such as a CAR and picking up a Box don't need different bindings. It's just confusing. Lastly, depending where you park and if you drive a car on the entrance of the car wash the customers collecting the cars just decide to drive through the railings. I did make it to the $2500 garage but straight after it just wanted me to buy another expensive upgrade for the tutorial so I just stopped. I am sure the upgrade system is fine late game potentially but at least for early game needs to be tweaked in my opinion. Regardless it's a cool concept for a simulation game. I will keep an eye on it and I hope the development for the full release goes smoothly.
Some things need to be fixed

🧽 Car Wash Simulator Review Verdict: Frustrating, broken, and not worth recommending (yet). 🚧 Gameplay & Progression - Unlocking features is nearly impossible. - Even after buying the cheapest entertainment option for customers, you barely break even. - It takes two full bottles of soap just to clean a single car, which feels unbalanced. - The garage (where you unlock other jobs) is gated behind grind-heavy mechanics that make progress feel stalled. 🛒 Shopping & Mechanics - The in-game shopping system is broken. - Ordering soap is a nightmare — you have to click at a dozen different angles before it finally adds to the cart. - Opening parking spots or even the car wash itself feels buggy and unreliable. 🪑 Building & Placement - Once you place an item (like a bench), it’s permanent. No rearranging, no second chances. - This lack of flexibility makes experimenting with layouts frustrating. 👥 Customer Experience - Suspicious customer mechanics feel unfinished and confusing. - Overall, it’s hard to keep customers happy because the systems don’t work as intended. ⚖️ Final Thoughts For a free game, it has potential as a quick time-killer, but the broken mechanics and grind-heavy progression make it more frustrating than fun. Until the developers fix the core systems, I can’t recommend it.
