Beautiful intuitive FPS engine.
This game designer did not live up to my expectations, constant bugs, curved textures and UV, in the library of 3D models there are models of other developers without indicating the authorship of the model and at the same time you cannot create a commercial product based on these models!
I bought this because I wanted to experiment with VR, but this crap doesn't work, I feel cheated, because even Steam says it has VR capability, but no, don't buy this junk
Purchased TGC softwares from 2011, used all enignes over the years despite the engines flaws i cannot reccomand it especially for the toxic community management that ban users on discord channels only because could share the same point of view.. apart that.. software is not ready for a complete full game developement journey.. if you want a toy go for it .. if you want to make games learn something solid and work ready like Unity( a lot easier than max itself , even with programming) or unreal engine
Great
I was a massive fan of GameGuru. It wasn't perfect, but I spent a lot of time on it, 3000 hours plus. I paid £100 for it on release, which seems a lot but not when you do the maths; 3.3 pence per hour, minus the leccy. Max has been a mixed bag overall, but the original GameGuru was a bit of a Rollercoaster ride as well, eventually being a great tool. Max now runs at speed with very large maps, lots of npc's and a fair amount of added scenery (to the initial map). I deliberately let it develop without me using it much. So now I feel like a newbie again. Every time I dip in and try it, it's way faster and mostly bug free. If you want to make games easily, fairly quickly and without too much knowledge it's a must buy. If you want to spend time getting fully into it, you can make nearly any game you want. The lua scripting is awesome for customisation! Ignore the awful Steam games made using it's predecessor, they were mostly slightly altered versions of GG Media packs and demos. If you were lucky. Your not going to make GTA6 or even 5, but then again it's quite a bit cheaper than Rockstars game budgets!
Amazing game development tool which allows you to drag and drop object and start playing directly in it. Better than Unrel Engine. Plus its from old school DarkBasic dev which I loved so much
