Gamedec is a detective-focused narrative CRPG set in an interesting cyberpunk world, where people play in these matrix-style games called Virtualiums and experience much of their daily lives in them. It's in these Virtualiums that crime occurs, and your job as a Gamedec is to investigate and uncover it. But there's more to the world than first appears, something I won't spoil, but it changes things drastically. The gameplay is mostly carried by its skill tree, with four different types of points you accumulate depending on your playstyle. This leads into my biggest criticism: the way skills interact with dialogue feels a bit inverted. Early on, the game is very focused, you simply don’t have many skills yet, so you don’t get a lot of extra dialogue options. Later, as you unlock more of the skill tree, the game becomes much wider in approach. By the end, you almost feel like a “detective god” rather than a character with a defined identity. That said, this is somewhat balanced by a pretty good deduction system, which isn’t about clearly good or bad choices, but more about different shades of grey. Your decisions actually change how things unfold, and it often feels like a proper choose-your-own-adventure experience where there isn’t a single “wrong” path. Overall, the game looks great visually, especially the world outside the “virtual” spaces, which feels very unique. The ending is a bit convoluted, one of those moments where I can imagine Bioshock writers going “wow, that’s a lot”, but I do think it ultimately lands, even after a slightly bumpy narrative ride. The game also isn’t voiced, so keep that in mind. I personally didn’t mind it, since the writing is broken into smaller sections, which keeps it flowing nicely and easy to read. Overall, a fun, not particularly long, classic-feeling narrative RPG. If the premise interests you, it's worth checking out, if not, you can probably skip it.
türkçe olması kesinlikle tam puan . ayrıca hikayesi, konu bütünlüğü ve akışı harika. oynayın . oynattırın .
This game has a lot of interesting things going on, but I found the core lacking. The game progresses through deductions, but I never really felt like those deductions had much of an impact at all on the way things moved forward, particularly as we got into the endgame. I didn't really care about the wider plot, and the further in I got, the less I felt like the choices I made had any meaningful effect. There were also some smaller issues along the way, like clunky dialogue and grammatical issues, and a lack of subtitles despite some spoken dialogue that was at points hard to hear (the spoken dialogue was generally just background stuff, but I was annoyed that I couldn't figure out what it was saying).
Nice narative/deduction game that does not flood you with too much unimportant texts and allow you some freedom how to sort out cases.
good
