Galaxy Forces VR

Galaxy Forces VR is a free VR Game. Worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. You are floating in space looking at this 3D map. You turn the ship with your touchpad and the map is what moves when you thrust. Sort of like Asteroids arcade game. Try it, if you like arcade games.

Awesome game, pure nostalgia. Works perfectly with Knuckles and Touch, actually I tried to set SteamVR super sampling to 200% using the Index and my heavily oc'ed GTX 1080, and I got solid 90 fps - even with all in-game settings set to Ultra. The sharpness and image quality are beyond amazing using ss 200% (but even 100% looks great too using Index, the Rift CV1 really needs and shines using 200% though). It's a great game for relaxing too (can be played sitting), although some of the later levels may be quite challenging. 30 levels will take many hours to complete.

A fairly simple yet rather challenging game . Definitely has influence from several old school console and arcade games but with the 3D environment of VR. I’d say it is relaxing, but I end up finding my heart racing trying to beat the clock.
