Scratches the “gun roguelite” with lots of options and permanent upgrades that are balanced incredibly well
To all you can play the game on the Steam Deck it works fine try the Demo it works the full game download is a bit bugy but it workt to the game: it is great eleven out of ten woud be an twelve out of ten if i had multiplayer but we can hope for it... 🤩
Having a lot of fun so far, definitely scratches that FPS Roguelite itch and it's fast-paced enough without being unintelligible nonsense. My one point of feedback so far is, ironically enough, a lack of damage feedback on the player. It doesn't need to be anything over the top, but I feel there needs to be a bit more visual feedback when you get hit. I often find myself locked in, scooting around on my buttcheeks and blasting robots and won't even realize I'm almost dead until I look down at my health, which gets a lot more important on the higher difficulties. Other than that, having a blast.
Very enjoyable FPS hadeslike. Gunplay is fun, progression is consistent but still feels challenging. Runs can unlock strong synergies but every run feels different.
fun shooter roguelite, not too difficult if you know what you're doing even on the "impossible" difficulty. Some bugs I experienced: The "boing boing" challenge for the pistols has reset multiple times even after having completed it. I have not tested to see if this happens with other weapons. I'm not sure if this one's a bug or just an incorrect description. The "no more bosses" challenge for pistols doesn't seem to always go up upon killing a boss. I did an impossible run and killed 3 bosses, but the challenge only went up by 2. If this isn't bugged, it should specify whether it wants me to kill lieutenants or captains, not "bosses" I also have not tested this with other weapons. The upgrade nodes for weapons sometimes disappeared, so I could not hover over them to view them. I'm not sure if this is a bug either, but if I'm shooting a ton of bullets at a boss, my damage drops dramatically. from hundreds to like 10 Some feedback for the dev/devs: I'd like to see a more in depth upgrade system for the different classes, like a skill tree for each class, for example. I'm imagining this as an endgame upgrade system after you've upgraded everything else, especially if you guys add an endless mode that gets harder the longer you go. Melee weapons would be a good addition, especially for bruiser. I'd like to be able to transfer excess XP from weapons I use a lot to weapons I don't use a lot. For example, I use the "Hydra" pistol a lot, but I'm not a fan of the "Spitfire" pistol. I'd like to be able to transfer the excess XP I gain from the "Hydra" to the "Spitfire" at some ratio like 100:1 or something. a codex for upgrades in the main hub after you've gotten the upgrades for the first time. For example, what gives you more weak spot damage is it the scope icon or the magazine icon? This codex would help with that. On harder difficulties, the weapon challenges should be gained at a faster rate than if you were on a lower difficulty. For example, killing 1000 enemies with melee is easy on lower difficulties, but it takes longer, but on a higher difficulty it's harder to do, but it takes less time. Mastery weapon skins would be cool. Let me skip the Borderlands style boss intros. They're cool the first couple times, but after the 100th time seeing them, it gets a bit old. Same with the load into the med bay area in the hub. I want to play the game, not watch an unskippable cutscene for the 100th time. I'd like to be able to change the color of the enemies, as sometimes they do blend in with the map. I'm by no means a game dev, so I have no idea how easy or how hard some of this stuff is to add. Regardless of whether somehow all of this gets added or none of it, I still really enjoy the game. (Though I do think the XP transfer for weapons should be added in some way. I really don't want to use the Spitfire to level it plz, devs) Holy, I just realized how long this review is lol.
This game is good fun! Very RNG based and that's what I love about it. Even with the permanent upgrades, the higher difficulties are tough to do. Genuinely a good game!
Это вполне не плохо
Pretty decent FPS rougelite. I wish there was some more attachments, but I am only 2 hours through the game so far. Dev is quick with quick fixes for game-breaking bugs and communicates well on their Discord.
Gun the long way goes incredibly hard
Gunplay is great, bosses are challenging, and perk/build variety is nice. I'm not too far in, but really enjoying it so far! If you have played Deadzone Rogue and liked it, definitely worth picking this up.
