easy and enjoyable, keep the mind working. Fleets graphics have gone backwards. AI is so ridiculous on trade deals you basically refuse them all.
If you love the civ series you will love this.
This game is fine and stable. Do I think it's a massive leap from GC3? No. Do I think the devs are listening and improving the game? Yes. If you don't own any GC games, it's a solid 4x game.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Addicting, just one more turn.
They killed Space Empires series for this junk, please bring back good 4X games like Space Empires
Finally got around to purchasing this thanks to a massive sale. I was a HUGE fan of Galactic Civ III and I am very happy with IV! It's honestly everything I want in a space 4x game.
Slowly getting better. The replay value is great, even more than previous Gal Civ games. It's probably the most simplified & easy to pick up out of all of them so far. What I will say though is that it's really just more Gal Civ in the end, doesn't completely improve on everything, but I'm still enjoying it. Graphics are good and it runs smooth for me at least. New updates are helping it along every time, most recent one has brought good improvements across the board. I got it on sale and I think it's well worth it on sale, full price is a bit much, but I think eventually it'll be worth the full price if the devs continue to update it like they have been. I just wouldn't go in expecting something like Stellaris, Endless Space, etc. It really is just more Gal Civ.
A very deep and replayable 4x space empire game, one of the classics. There can be a steep learning curve on how best to manage the resource economy. Best turn based space empire game to date.
in Testphase, verbuggt! Absolute frechheit. NICHT KAUFEN!
great game, easy to lose yourself in
