Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Galactic Civilizations III is a great space strategy game if you enjoy building an empire on a massive scale. There is a lot to manage: colonization, research, diplomacy, ship design, economy, warfare, and expansion across huge galaxies. I especially like how much freedom the game gives you to build your civilization in different ways instead of forcing you into one playstyle. The ship designer is also a really nice feature. You can spend a ridiculous amount of time creating your own ships and fleets, even when you probably should be focusing on the actual war. The game can feel a little overwhelming at first because there are so many systems, but once everything starts to click it becomes very addictive. Watching your civilization grow from a single planet into a huge galactic power is extremely satisfying. If you like turn-based 4X strategy games, space exploration, diplomacy, and building large empires, Galactic Civilizations III is definitely worth playing.
great 4x game, if you love Civ, you'll love this game!
Easy to play and hard to win at upper levels. I
Fun space strategy game.
Game on!
Super geil und Komplex, macht mega Fun
I played Galciv 3 thru Intrique, found it good, in some cases better than GalCiv 2 but put it away for many years as not compelling. In the last month, I configured the latest Retribution and am amazed at how much better it is, chock full of content, improved well beyond GalCiv2 and early GalCiv3. I am on my way to breaking most hours record with this new classic.
