Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I dislike it. I tried to play it, and I had no fun. I don't like the premise and I don't like how it plays. Too much stuff behind menus that cover up precious desktop space. Left mouse drag moves the map instead of being select. I'm not finishing it with my precious time.
This game has possibly the most warmongering AI I've ever seen in grand strategy. It will focus super hard on military, and as soon as they are SLIGHTLY stronger than anyone else, they get a massive relations penalty with them, which will inevitably lead to war. Oh and about 1/3 of the way through the game, most civilizations get a moderate relations penalty with everyone else explained simply with "We want to conquer the galaxy." So that's fun. In my average games, I am number one in everything except military and some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ declares war on me. I manage to just barely hold them off, and just as I prepare to launch an offensive, another completely unrelated civ declares war on me as well and I ragequit. I guarantee that both of those will have been at war with like 3 other civs at the same time.

If your ship explores the map, when you go view the path it took, there are massive patches of non explored lands, sometimes explored but without the planet you know is there. When your territory expands it's domain, visibility doesn't always increase.. and it's been this way forever, yet they keep finding ways to charge more and more money, DLC's constantly, but never fixing the simplest of bugs. The original game, you could make super weird ships, with no engines bug massive sensors, that would see so so much of the map, but now the ships seem very limited and force specific ways to play. This game used to be awesome.
takes time to learn
cheap knock off of an original ( Master of Orion ). loads of imbalance issues you encounter at every stage of the game. punishing / disconnected ai that follows no sense. on a large map game literally takes anywhere from 2-8 minutes per round.. making coherent game play near impossible. start new game, set difficulty to beginner, configure large map with anywhere from 2 to 20 other races.. by turn 20-30 any number of ai will have capitol class warships and tech far beyond you. expect a practically scripted betrayal of an ally ai within 10-20 turns.. expect 2-5 if you opt for several competing ai races... for no reason at all. strange cosmic events like the invading robot faction that aims to "keep the peace".. moves thru your space killing all of your ships.. other competing ai avoided. most odd as you aren't at war nor do you have fighting ships in space. bug: study a tech, the next anomaly you find enhances it by 15% every time. it's a frustrating time regardless of how you set up your game. to any mmo players who try it out i'm certain there are things you will like. after several playthroughs winning or loosing, if you've played both, you will come to realize this is a low end copy of what was a great game. ca4 is epic only.. which totally makes sense, because this game with all of it's dlc is one of those where the devs have obviously copied a great game yet instead of making it better have only produced a buggy half is as they're trying to maximize sales.
overly complicated. Uninstalled as no matter what difficulty is played, cant make money, cant make ships, altogether cant do anything quicker than the AI. Galactic Civ 2 was much better
Does not feel like a 40 dollars game and with all these dlcs feels like EA.
Epic Games sellouts won’t get a buck from me.
