For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

GAL VS VILLAGE

STORY
///////////////
On 23rd month, Year 2XXX of the Unified Calendar, signs of otherworldly transformation were confirmed in Haiseta Village.
A claim of responsibility was confirmed from the Kurobachi family — the village guardians — and from villagers themselves.
The only message sent was a single line: “Know us.”
Togawa-no-Fuchi Prefectural authorities announced an immediate response.
Transcendent Entity Management Bureau — Special Unit No. 444:
Kessenji “Blood-sucker” Yui is to be dispatched at once to contain the situation.

memo
The villagers who have already become monstrous cannot be saved, nor can this village, which has become an otherworld.
Even though our homeland contains countless otherworlds, the manifestation of even a single one upsets the nationwide balance of deities and gods, and people’s lives — their everyday existence — will be invaded.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
What's this?
///////////////
GAL VS VILLAGE is an old-school FPS where you storm Haiseta Village — now wrapped in strange phenomena — armed with kitchen knives and firearms.
You play as Kessenji “Blood-sucker” Yui, infiltrate the village, and must neutralize the villagers who have turned into horrors and the people of the Kurobachi family who are plotting something, bringing the crisis to an end.
Monstrous villagers, ancient kamis that manifest, and various shikigami invoked by rituals —
you will face a wide range of hostile entities.
But you are the strongest gal.
You cannot lose.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
FUTURE
///////////////
Kessenji “Blood-sucker” Yui has undergone special ritual consecration over her entire body, and her form has adapted to the otherworld — she is the secret weapon of the special unit.
Therefore, you can move at high speed with the SHIFT key, hold left-click to fire firearms one-handed, and use right-click to swing a meat cleaver.
For players unfamiliar with FPS games, this title includes a “You Won’t Get Lost (Probably)” guide feature and an ultra-forgiving lowest difficulty where you almost never die.
Rest easy!

SONGS!!!
///////////////
The previous work, “CULT VS GAL” featured the industry’s first multi-ending system, and of course this title also allows you to choose multiple endings.
For the ending songs — which are quite decadent and mature — I commissioned arrangement, recording, and mixing from Takayuki Katō (active as “kikato” in the band “Iroiro na Juujika”). Composition and lyrics are by the author.
The title track will of course play as well.
It’s called “Konjo Eternal.” Lyrics and composition by the author.

Fun movement, great music, good combat. Not much else to say
Short, but i liked it
GAL VS VILLAGE is a compact and deliberately eccentric first-person shooter that mixes the frantic spirit of classic boomer shooters with Japanese supernatural horror, anime-inspired characterization, and a generous amount of bloody action. Developed and published by Crush-vAdin, the game places personality ahead of realism, creating an experience where high-speed movement and aggressive gunplay exist alongside ancient spirits, transformed villagers, occult rituals, and a protagonist who seems almost perfectly designed to clash with the grim circumstances surrounding her. Rather than trying to frighten players through helplessness, the game takes the opposite approach by giving them a heroine capable of confronting supernatural creatures head-on. The story revolves around Haiseta Village, a settlement that has undergone a disturbing transformation into an otherworldly domain. The Kurobachi family, traditionally responsible for protecting the village, becomes connected to the unexplained incident, while the villagers themselves are caught in a situation from which ordinary rescue is no longer possible. A strange message essentially challenges outsiders to understand what has happened, adding mystery to what could otherwise have been a straightforward monster-killing premise. The supernatural transformation is also more than an isolated local disaster because it threatens the boundary separating normal human existence from paranormal forces. Into this situation comes Kessenji Yui, nicknamed the “Blood-sucker,” an operative belonging to Special Unit No. 444 of the Transcendent Entity Management Bureau. Yui has undergone extensive ritual consecration that allows her to function inside environments corrupted by supernatural forces. This background provides an entertaining explanation for why she can charge through the village with considerably more confidence than a typical horror protagonist. She is presented as an exceptionally powerful gal rather than a frightened survivor, and that characterization gives GAL VS VILLAGE much of its distinctive attitude. Combat is designed around speed and constant aggression. Yui can move rapidly through hostile areas while using firearms one-handed, making the shooting feel intentionally loose and energetic rather than tactical or methodical. She also carries a meat cleaver for enemies unfortunate enough to get within striking distance. Alternating between ranged firepower and close-range violence creates the foundation of the combat loop. The emphasis on mobility means that remaining stationary rarely feels like the intended approach. Instead, players are encouraged to keep moving, react quickly to threats, and tear through groups of supernatural enemies with the confidence expected from Yui's exaggerated reputation. Enemy variety also complements the setting effectively. The transformed inhabitants of Haiseta Village are joined by members of the mysterious Kurobachi family and various supernatural entities. Ancient kami and summoned shikigami help push the enemy roster beyond conventional zombies or generic monsters. This gives the action a strong Japanese occult identity while still preserving the immediate readability expected from a retro FPS. The mixture of traditional supernatural imagery and straightforward shooting is one of the game's more memorable qualities. Visually, GAL VS VILLAGE embraces an intentionally unconventional combination of influences. Its anime character designs, pixel-influenced presentation, 2.5D qualities, horror imagery, gore, and cute elements are not supposed to blend into a realistic world. Their contrast is precisely the point. The colorful personality surrounding Yui can abruptly collide with gruesome creatures and violent encounters, creating an atmosphere that is simultaneously playful and macabre. Players looking for subtle psychological horror may find the presentation too energetic, but those who enjoy exaggerated indie games should find plenty of character in its unusual aesthetic. An especially welcome feature is the effort made to accommodate players who are less familiar with old-school shooters. Navigation assistance is available to reduce the possibility of becoming hopelessly lost, addressing one of the common frustrations associated with retro-inspired level design. A very forgiving lowest difficulty setting also allows inexperienced FPS players to concentrate on exploring the setting, enjoying the story, and experimenting with combat without being repeatedly punished. These options do not fundamentally change the game's identity but make its distinctive concept accessible to a broader audience. Replayability receives additional attention through multiple endings. This is particularly appropriate for a supernatural mystery because reaching different conclusions provides an incentive to investigate the events of Haiseta Village again instead of treating the experience as a purely linear shooting campaign. Steam Achievements and leaderboards provide additional goals for players interested in completion or improving their performance. The game remains primarily focused on single-player action rather than trying to stretch its relatively straightforward concept into unnecessary multiplayer modes. Music also contributes more significantly to the experience than might initially be expected. Dedicated songs accompany the game's endings, while the title song “Konjo Eternal” reinforces the energetic personality surrounding Yui and her mission. The presence of specially produced vocal music makes the project feel more personal and deliberately stylized. It fits a game that clearly wants its protagonist, supernatural setting, violence, and soundtrack to form a cohesive identity rather than simply reproducing the conventions of older FPS titles. GAL VS VILLAGE is ultimately most successful when viewed as a concentrated indie shooter built around a strange but memorable premise. Its individual mechanics may be familiar, but their presentation gives them fresh personality. High-speed movement, firearms, melee attacks, Japanese folklore, grotesque enemies, anime aesthetics, multiple endings, accessibility options, and original music combine into something much more distinctive than its straightforward FPS foundation might suggest. The game does not need elaborate realism or complicated systems because its appeal comes from immediacy and attitude. Crush-vAdin, serving as both developer and publisher, has created a game that confidently understands its niche. GAL VS VILLAGE is likely to appeal most strongly to players who enjoy retro shooters, Japanese indie games, supernatural themes, stylized gore, and protagonists with exaggerated personalities. Its mixture of horror and humor will not satisfy everyone, particularly those seeking a serious or atmospheric survival experience, but its willingness to commit completely to its bizarre concept is admirable. For players attracted to fast action and unconventional presentation, Haiseta Village offers a lively supernatural battleground with enough mystery and replay value to complement the carnage. Rating: 8/10
Game's very similar to the first, but very short in comparison. They have the same playstyle and is more story oriented than anything else. If you like the first game, you'll like this one. If you hadn't played the first game, then expect the combat to be quite tactical if you plan on playing in harder difficulties as you can lose your health quick and there's very few healing items per each level. It provides a good challenge, limiting your sight and forcing you to be cautious of each turn (though the radar & minimap provides some leeway), but the bosses are super super easy. It's a good and short game with the only downside being that there isn't any middle fingers anytime you melee.
Literally some HELL YEAH! type crazy ♥♥♥♥
Really fun little shooter with some great mechanics, awesome art direction, and frantic gunplay. Loved the story, loved the enemy designs, maybe could have done without some of the more annoying stretches of enemies at the end, but that's also pretty standard for the genre and besides, it's short and sweet. Can't ask for much more.
