For a GZDoom mod, the dev has COMPLETELY turned the engine on its head and turned it into a hectic AF futuristic Ace Combat style game (Reminds me of Electrosphere especially). The core mechanisms are well tuned, the combat is fast and hectic, and the story captured me, but the collide boxes for bosses are kind of out there. I'm used to getting close during my attack runs (A habit from Battle for Naboo and Star Fox 64). Another gripe I have is that the briefing text goes by a little too quickly, making me miss a detail or two. Otherwise, a very good game from the outset of my first sortie.

A clunky Early Access game that was abandoned years ago.
Fury's Sky is an abandoned Early Access attempt at modding the GZDooM engine to make a flight sim out of it. You know, a classic case of using the wrong tool for the job. Like trying to eat a pizza with a hammer. The game itself is so buggy it's unplayable. I went into the menu to start playing the game, but was unable to select sufficient menu options in the plane selection/loadout to actually start the level. So, presuming there was something I was missing, I jumped back to the main menu and kicked off the tutorial. That should explain what I was missing, right? Of course not. The plane selection loadout menu from my first attempt at playing was overlaid on the tutorial, and I couldn't quit it! So the tutorial was also unplayable! The technical aspects of the game are on par with the sheer, unplayable bugginess of the game, with extremely lazy low poly assets... the game looks signficantly worse than the 1990's DooM game that this was built from. If this had came out in the 1990's, it would have flopped because it looks pretty bad, with lazy, phoned in graphics, even if it wasn't so bug riddled it was unplayable. The developers abandoned this before launch, the last depot update is about a week before it launched in Early Access, so they basically paid $100 USD to treat Steam like a dumping ground. That was around 3 years ago at the time of this review, and of course the game will never be complete. While it's free, it's a mess with no value or merit as a PC game. If you're looking for a decent space sim, try Elite or X4.

GZDoom motorunu kullanarak eşi benzeri olmayan bir uçuş aksiyon oyununda uçun, savaşın ve hayatta kalın!
Just not fun to play, seems like it was abandoned so never got the heavy polish it needed. I do think its cool that the dev made a flight sim in GZDoom but it probably isn't the best tool for the job in this case.
An interesting little flight combat sim making use of gz doom in a creative way. Not much to complain about being a free and fun game, too bad the devs abandoned it and the game won't likely come out of early access
DOOM: × Fury's Sky: √ But it's a bit hard to aim, I think it's the reason why author give player the ability to stay airborne while holding its position.
