I deeply believe that this is such an underrated game. It's one of the only games that has made me play the entire journey several times. It's highly enjoyable and quite straightforward. You wake up in a prison and start to beat a guy up in a tutorial boss that already makes you wanna fight more. It's gameplay is simple yet catchy, you will be moving at thunder speed doing adrenaline-fueled attacks and parrying. The game is basically a boss rush, and until now I would automatically despise a game with that description, but Furi has shut my mouth. Each boss is REALLY unique and defies you with new mechanics, so you'll constantly be having to adapt, it really never gets a bit boring. The fantastic music also helps with that, having an ost that multiplies your will of keep fighting. I normally need a fantastic story that tears my mind. This game doesn't have it at all, but doesn't need it either. And it's amazing that only giving you a few cinematics and a couple of dialogue lines it can make you feel bad or inspire you, also depending on what decision you make at the end. The style is really unique and just feels perfect for the game, and the characters although not deeply explored, make you always wanna know more about them and this world, as well as what's about to happen. It's really a game that has surprised me and given me an unexpected mark that will never go away, totally recommended.
Very fun, good action combat, amazing atmosphere
Furi is a good game, but I got banned from the community hub for saying something against the publisher (The Game Bakers), so I will rewrite it as a review because I feel like I was done injustice. The current people holding the rights didn't make the visuals for Furi; their choice in community "fanart" is proof that they don't have a clue what they are talking about. Even 10 years later, it seems the only thing that comes to mind is sullying a masterpiece with third-rate "fanart" every couple of months. The original developers from Furi left years ago; they didn't make anything worthwhile on their own ever since. The management should stop clumsily fumbling around with their first and only memorable game. My opinion is that the publisher, "The Game Bakers" aren't even qualified to have it listed under their name as they are now. Every game they put out after Furi was a disappointment worse than the last. Also, in case the current developer is reading this, I recommend stopping being immature and banning people. It will only come back to worsen your image if you do this too often. If it were me, and I was in the right, I would just refute said person publicly instead of dishing out cancellation. TLDR: Buy Furi, be aware the original team did change a long time ago. Don't expect the developers other games to hold a candle.
Ah yes, my favorite feature. Unskippable walk scenes that are a quarter of the total gameplay... how exciting.
I thought this would be super fast hack and slash awesomeness, but it's actually a really slow, clunky and boring Bloodborne clone with the all too familiar low poly visual aesthetic. Infuriatingly difficult for the sake of it. I'm pretty sure there won't even be much of a payoff for all the controller-breaking Furi (hah!) one would have to endure to play this. Another fish in the large sea of such games. Thanks, From Software, for your contribution to gaming.
Кайф игра
