About
Welcome to Funnel Runners, where you will have your first on-site deployment with APEX Storm Monitoring Services.
A high-priority F5 tornado is approaching, and we are counting on you (and up to 7 fellow friends) to collect data, scavenge necessary information, and, of course, survive.

The weather is your worst enemy here. Tornados and storms will spawn randomly, grow stronger over time, and tear the whole map apart. Buildings will collapse piece by piece, and items will no longer be found in destroyed areas, so you must adapt quickly. Be careful not to be swept up by the wind; you may not be found again.

In this mission, you can team up with 7 other players or tackle it solo. Share gadgets, split up to cover more ground, collect necessary information and items to fix the van before the situation turns bad.
With realistic graphics and a first-person perspective, the experience brings you close to every gust of wind, distant siren, and falling piece of debris.

Scavenge the collapsing city for scattered vehicle parts, fuel, and tools. These items will allow you to repair your van and help you survive the storm. Each playthrough features randomized environments, weather, items, and problems to solve on your vehicle. No playthrough will be the same.

As someone from Illinois, I can confirm that this is an accurate depiction of my daily commute to work
the gameplay loop is the same but every level acts different sometimes you win sometimes you get pulled out of house.

SUPER fun. can use some optimization. looks VERY good with graphics cranked. any of you urban explorer enjoyers will like this game. scavenging for parts to fix your truck in an evacuated neighborhood trying to avoid getting swept away by tornadoes. absolute GEM of an idea for a game. if this is what we have for early access i am absolutely HYPE for the future. hope they go far.
Fun with friends, but having only one map/one objective is pretty hindering and doesn't really have anything that draws me back in. The difficulties are locked behind XP/level requirements, which is unfortunate. My group played for almost 2 hours and still were not a high enough level to move past the Normal difficulty, which by the end we had pretty much figured out, so we just stopped playing. Not once did we lose, so it would've been nice to have access to the harder difficulties right out of the gate. If they can add more maps (plural, even two maps is not going to cut it), fix the way difficulty is locked behind XP, and add more objectives besides "fix car and collect coins" or "fix car and un-barricade two doors in the map", then I will definitely return to the game again. As of now, this game is essentially a demo and not worth $15. The sound design is great, the storms and tornadoes are cool, and I can tell that the higher difficulties are going to be where we play this game if they can add more content. The game has a lot of potential, but it needs a lot more content for me to recommend at this time.
One of my favorite games. Gameplay loop is pretty basic but I find it entertaining.
