About
Welcome to Funnel Runners, where you will have your first on-site deployment with APEX Storm Monitoring Services.
A high-priority F5 tornado is approaching, and we are counting on you (and up to 7 fellow friends) to collect data, scavenge necessary information, and, of course, survive.

The weather is your worst enemy here. Tornados and storms will spawn randomly, grow stronger over time, and tear the whole map apart. Buildings will collapse piece by piece, and items will no longer be found in destroyed areas, so you must adapt quickly. Be careful not to be swept up by the wind; you may not be found again.

In this mission, you can team up with 7 other players or tackle it solo. Share gadgets, split up to cover more ground, collect necessary information and items to fix the van before the situation turns bad.
With realistic graphics and a first-person perspective, the experience brings you close to every gust of wind, distant siren, and falling piece of debris.

Scavenge the collapsing city for scattered vehicle parts, fuel, and tools. These items will allow you to repair your van and help you survive the storm. Each playthrough features randomized environments, weather, items, and problems to solve on your vehicle. No playthrough will be the same.

Imperdível! Muito imersivo!
It's fun, it's scary, it's stressful, it's punishing. About all you need for a multiplayer co-op suffering game. Performance (for me at least, pc specs should linked below.) is pretty good, never encountered lag issues (from my end at least). The gist of the game is you drive your weather monitoring van inside an active weather zone, then an invisible karen destroys parts of your van because you breathed air within 1000 miles of her. So you have to go around a small town gathering supplies to repair and refuel the van. Sounds easy right? Oh did I forget to mention tornados really want to kill you? No? Well now I will. When searching for supplies, F2s, F3s, and F4s will spawn. You have a time limit before the F5 reaches you, and when it does reach you, you can probably guess what happens. There are also weather events to stop you as well. Acid rain will deal a little damage every second, unless you are shielded by an umbrella or a roof. Hail is the same as acid rain, but it deals more damage, but slower. Still you DO NOT want to get caught outside for long in either weather. Last weather event is lightning, which randomly strike areas of the map, and occasionally you. Only way to stop lightning is a roof, or your very own portable hand-held lightning rod. You do have a time limit of when the F5 will reach you, with time being a little bit randomized, and dependent on difficulty, making it about 21 - 16 minutes of time before the F5 reaches you. You can tell what the time is by looking at the F5 distance, with 0.1 miles being 1 minute. So if it says the F5 is 1.4 miles away, you have 14 minutes. When the distance gets to 0.3 - 0.2, the siren will start going off and the F5 will start to pull you towards it. When this happens GET BACK TO THE VAN AND LEAVE, as that is when the tornado is about to kill you. As it clocks down from 0.3 - 0.2 miles, usually around 0.1 miles, it will start to pull you in stronger than before, to a point where you cant run to escape, and then get thrown into Mexico as a lifeless ragdoll. There are a lot of things I left out, for example lore documents you get in the archive, food items to temporarily increase you stats, healing items, and money to buy stuff from the company vending machine. The game receives constant updates and fixes from the devs, and they listen to the community quite well. They are going all in on this, so if you have an issue when playing the game, won't remain an issue for long. Last thing I want to mention is if you do get this game, lower down tornado volume, your ears will thank you. (The tornadoes, especially the F4s, are LOUD) also if anyone is wondering why it's F5 and not EF5, the game is set in the mid 90's before the Enhanced Fujita (EF) scale was a thing. See you in the van, Fellow Runners!
Would I recommend the game to others on a general level? Sure, with the caveat that with it being an early access game, you're going to VERY quickly run out of things to do and it's going to become a repetitive slog while you wait for new content. Would I recommend the game overall? No, for one main reason, which is a personal one; that of the developers banning anyone (including myself) that doesn't fall in lockstep with clapping their hands and saying that the game is great and anyone who has a concern or thinks there could be improvement is just a poor player who needs better skills. Repeated concerns have been brought up about the difficulty in finding items when you don't have a huge group, or the F5 pulling you away from the van because you couldn't find a tire or fuel before it reached you and so you can't complete the minigames, and the answer is "Well, keep looking and find those first." If you criticize beyond a certain point you're banned. That's a sign of a very fragile group of programmers, IMO and for that reason alone, given how many bugs and problems the game still has, i wouldn't recommend it at the present time. Is it fun? Sure, it can be. Does it keep being fun? No, not when you run out of things to do, the tornadoes target you (it's all random, per the devs even though it happens almost constantly) and lightning consistently hits cars just as you go by them (it's all random, per the devs even though it happens far more than random chance would dictate) or you can't find what you need in time and get killed (your fault; you need to play better per the players that the devs upvote and support) As with all things, YMMV. Definitely give it a try, but make sure you know what you're getting into with the gameplay, both positive and negative, and be aware that you don't have a free hand to speak your mind when it comes to being critical of the game. No cursing on my part, no swearing, no being insulting but I was banned. Take that for what you will.

This game is 15 dollars of legal US tender and provides about a dollar a minute of gameplay. You play the game once you have played it for a thousand hours. There is no depth, no skill ceiling, nothing really to learn. You play for the first time with your friends and after one round you realize "oh, this is it huh". if the game was 5 dollars maybe i'd think it was okay, but there just isn;t enough content
