Funguys Swarm is a cartoony survivor bullet hell where the forest is on fire. Become a Funguy, arm yourself with forest-crafted weapons, and unleash some bonkers powers on the Fireking’s army. And maybe... just maybe, save the day if you’re skilled (or lucky) enough.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Aug 25 → 17.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Funguys Swarm is a survivor-style roguelite where you play as forest weirdos fighting the Fire King’s flaming minions. Level up, unlock new heroes, pets, skills—even mechas—and rescue creatures to grow your Forest Sanctuary for permanent upgrades. Perfect for both newcomers and seasoned survivors!

Choose from a cast of silly funguys, each with their quirky charm and unique abilities. Whether you like getting up close and personal or prefer to keep things tactical from afar, there’s a funguy for every playstyle.

Face off against never-ending waves of flaming minions, mutated veggies, and things that probably shouldn’t be on fire. The longer you last, the weirder—and wilder—it gets.

Grab upgrades mid-run and stack chaotic, over-the-top powers that turn your goofy forest friend into a full-blown nature-powered menace.

A weapon to surpass the m.... menace of the fire king! Powered by the forest and questionable engineering. It probably shouldn’t work, but it does.

Every now and then, the swarm throws a tantrum and sends in a giant boss. They're huge, unpredictable, and almost always on fire. Oh yeah, did I mention that there's even a bigger baddie at the end of each arena?

Fret not, you have the forest backing you up in the Sanctuary, a place where you can upgrade your powers to be more ridiculous than it is right now... for the right price of course!

It's still in early access, and it shows. I like the theme. I like the character models. At $6.99 it's hard to give this a negative review, but the game really needs some polish. There are too many obvious bugs and inconsistencies, and a lack of information about fundamental mechanics.

perfectly executed. high quality game!
Enjoying the heck out of this, and glad I picked it up. Less synergy (at least at this point in my play) than something like vampire survivors, but I really like the graphics and movement, and the way each attack builds. It's perfect for a short play session, but also does loop well into 'one more round'. Picked this up initially because of the tie in with coral island, but it was 100% worth it on its own!
The game is fun, if you enjoy the genre you will like this game. The characters are well designed, the skills feel good to use, there are genuine innovations in the genre. The levels are fun, and varied, the way you level up and mutate your weapons is dope. The bosses are interesting, theres a little hades vibe introduced in the game, the variable diffculty in the run is dope. I get the one more run feel everytime I play the game and it's not easy. So its definitely worth your time and money. This has a ton of potential and options to explore, hopefully it continues getting supported. It needs some work, it EA. So I'll leave some feedback lines here as well I think the idea of heroes synergizing with cards is a good idea, but there arent enough skills for it to really feel useful. SO its really unbalanced I think the heroes being elements should matter more, maybe have elemental damage weaknesses and strengths? We need a lot more weapons, half of them being charging is kind of meh. There needs to be more variety We need more pets, and an explanation of the pets. More mechas than just the one. Performance on steam deck is awful. More stages need to be implemented, the colliseum feels like a toss in, its basically a boss room as a stage. If were doing that we can have many more stages. The bigger stages have a ton of detail and I know that takes time, maybe we should scope in more arena type levels like the eggsoleum. Everything doesnt need to be an infinite scrolling map, an interesting and finite map is enough. Spell Brigade follows that principle well and I think you guys have designed such good levels we can have large medium and small maps so we can have a lot more run to run variety that extends the legs of the game
Does not really feel like it does anything new but what it does do it does exceptionally well
Played one round before bed, made me want to call out of work and continue playing al night </3
