Frontlines™: Fuel of War™

Mi general OMEGACRITICO me oblig- me alentó a jugar esta obra maestra de THQ entre jugué como rojo y al instante recibí un snipaso de CHARLIE KIRK me ardí y me volví azul como consecuencia recibí bullyng constante de los drones rojos. MEJORES

I mean for intents and purposes this is just Battlefield Bad Company from Temu and Drones, but personally as the gameplay goes it does it fairly well. It has destructible environments as a key element and a overall control scheme that works fairly well. However at the current price of $20 it is a hard pass as the Campaign lasts only about 4 hours in total and the multiplayer scene is basically dead, so I really can't recommend it in it's current state. But if you were to get it of a larger bundle or a key for $5 or less, it is a pretty fun joy ride of the time it gives, even if it is not perfect. I actually think with some design adjustments to the core game, this could have really been a decent Battlefield competitor. However given the time of it's release, and how BF2 released in 05, this is more or less a down grade in every way save the drone gameplay, which is fun while it lasts. The AI is also surprisingly decent, however it has some noticeable hiccups and by 2008 standards is not that great. Overall I would give this a 6/10 and while I think if I had some slightly better direction and campaign I would rate it closer to an 8. However as it is, it wont be higher than a 6 and it really comes down to it's current state of things. Realistically for most players it is probably closer to a 4 out of 10. However I am usually a bit forgiving when it comes to games with age so as it is, it is not that bad. Just too short for the asking price, and BF2 doing most of what it sets out to do better. The writing is also pretty bad, however some of the VA work is actually decent given what they had to work with. It attempts to push a serious story with some comedic undertones, but most if not all do not really land, so most if not all the writing is kind of cringe. For most people I would give a pass on this game and just play BF2, but if you enjoy BF2's general gameplay style and just want to explore other peoples take on it, this is probably one of the better ones on offer despite it's flawed nature.
