Tania wersja serii civ tyle że ma jeszcze dużo do dociągnięcia od produkcji starych jednostek i możliwości produkcyjne bo surowce muszą być przy danym mieście żeby coś produkować co jest daremne
love this game
the game is probably dead, given that it hasnt been updated in 6 years and was supposed to be in EA for upto a year. so that being said, it wasnt that bad. for a super light civ game its ok but the money can bug out so you will need to earn way more than what its displaying. its a very simple game, shouldnt be that hard to handle and can be pretty relaxing. probably could be a good introduction to civ builders.

It is an okay game I give it three out of five stars. But the one big complaint I have is that this game needs a map editor. I find I need more resources to access new technologies and units. And expanding is done by placing city upgrades out on tiles as well as settlers for new towns. So rapid army and navy is key to defense and resources are key to advancement. Air units come later in game so it is a race to air and rockets later game.
Too bad it is dead
Simple turn based game, have some glitches like random error leading to interruption of game, but is correctable with quick save throughout the game
The only good thing about this game is that it's free as even when i thought that one thing may be decent... I forgot what it was so it had to be some minor thing that gets overshadowed by the empty chores that you have to do on every step I don't even consider it civlike and for sure not a clone of it as it just has units moving around and trying to fight each other so by that logic diablo would be civlike game It has... well had potential but for sure not to do anything big anyway, as for a small project for IT class it would pass but as for a game, even a free one it really doesn't offer anything but suffering from literally everything. Moving units when you have at least 2 is a pain, moving units when you have to move more than 1-2 tiles is suffering and if you have to move them overseas? that's literally the only thing that makes sense and is "nice" Barbarians are a joke beside first 10 turns and I don't mind that but the fact that other factions are a joke too, that one I mind, just like the fact that there is no diplomacy and don't tell me that option for peace and "friendship" (which gives you nothing but a non agression pact for few turns) is diplomacy, no trade, no alliances, no nothing and AI declares war on you when it sees your unit nearby for more than 3 turns... and never goes to your place stacking units in random parts of their land... I wouldn't recommend to anyone but masochists and even tho I'm one and I love crapy games, I couldn't go for more and happily I saw the "win screen" as at least turns are pretty fast (it was about 500 turns in this 3h of gameplay) Oh I remembered, the only good thing is that last tier siege unit two hits enemy cities so you can take them over quickly and be done with it
stripped down to its absolute basics, you run around with archers and warriors for half the game, then start building factories, research labs and.... nothing. there's just nothing at the end. you can build a mars rocket, but it does nothing. no victory screen. weird game. weird experience. doesn't really have anything to do, AI just builds random things. my complaint with it is that the micro is so tedious. why no auto-build? every city needs x farms, x production facilities, x research facilities, maybe x gold buildings. why do I have to click three times for each of these in 2023? and you have to micro the workers pretty often, too, or they'll produce 2 science instead of 7 production. Microing roads is even worse, you can't queue them up because it needs an adjacent existing road. I just don't like micro in these games. If I wanted to micro I would play a RTS
The developer coded the basics at a Civ1 level and then gave up by the looks. Steam is claiming 'get involved with this game as it develops' with a note that the game may or may not develop. NOT. In one of the discussion threads the developer cites the deadly Covids as an excuse. A developer that would use Covids as an excuse likely lacks discernment, imagination, and skill to fully develop the game. While both video games and the Covids originated in the imagination and exist only on a screen, the COvids story was developed by others with a mastery of psychology, whereas this game has hardly developed. It is a shame that this game could not be fully developed into a unique, highly-polished software product because this very basic version doesn't seem to have any bugs which is a surprise given the current lowly state of software development. Gamers will probably prefer other game titles including the next Civilization game.
