Before I played From Village to Empire, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Ну что сказать... Это "Цивилизация" на минималках. Проекту, конечно ещё расти и расти, но уже +- играбельно. Поддержка модов большой + к развитию. Для любителей стратегий, у кого нет мощного ПК зайдёт нормально.
Definitely something to check out when you like 4X titles.

After much consideration and playing it for close to 7 hours, I have to say the game is bit of a waste of time. To make this review balanced, I will look at the good parts first: .Straight forward and rather intuitive. .A unique take on the Civilization concept with buildings being built outside the city. .An eclectic mix of civilizations. The Romans, Chinese, Germans... And the Finns. And here is the critique: .Stripped down game play makes the game repetitive. There is a total lack of units as units jump from Ancient to Medieval era to Early-modern to Modern Era. No variety. .Resource distribution seems utterly farcical. There is lots of iron, which you will use for 5 units maximum. Coal is hard to come by on small maps and a bit easier to find on large maps. Oil is next to none existent, and given that the majority of late game units require oil, this makes the game pointless. Oil only spawns in water. Uranium is overly abundant. .Diplomacy barely exists in the game. It is either war or peace. No interaction or trade. . Games boil down to building units and throwing them at the enemy. There is some strategy like which tech route to go down. But it feels to be rather generic. . No internal politics. There is no happiness modifier or internal decisions to make. No government what so ever. .Victory conditions seem bare bones. Only military victory seems to work. . Reading some comments, the game is not supported and it shows. I felt depressed after playing this game for ~7 hours because I felt I had wasted my time. It is a free game but don't waste your time.
it bad
Daha iyi olabilir ama bu da iyi :)
I loved the game format, the design and everything else. However, it lacks more civilizations, more statistics and more information that we love to visualize in a strategy game. But unfortunately the game has been stalled with no responses to user posts by developers for a year. Sadly, this game has a really cool charm! Please resurrect the game! If you are in doubt whether to buy or not, I tell you that even with this problem of stopping because of the pandemic period (developers claim this) I spent hours and hours in the game and having fun, the value until it pays off at the end of the bills. The Game does have a cool vibe!
Yes for the game.
Its not best of CIvs, but for free game its OK. By options and gameplay is between Civs 1 and 3, but adds modernized graphics. Too bad its abandoned
I know Civilization, Ive played Civilization..... this is no Sid Meier Civ game lol but decent enough to play because it doesnt take 10 years to load like Civ 6 does
