Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

I finally managed to get my hands on this game after 16 yrs! I still think that the game mechanics are amazing and that just 10 levels is so much wasted potential. Now for the bad news (and the reasons I do not recommend this game). First of all, €10 for just 10 levels of mostly the same thing is not worth it at all, especially after 16 years. After this, pushing an update for just enforcing an external launcher is a scam in of itsalf, but having to go leaps and bounds JUST for playing the game offline (and the fact that the game will auto-update with a 250 MB file after replacing the installer with an older version which weighs only 10 MB and allows offline play) is really too much. I got this game for €2,50 and even that I think is a bit too overpriced for the user experience it gives. Edit: you can launch the game without installing the launcher by simply rejecting the installation and the game will launch without a hitch, though you'll have to do it each time you launch the game. Further proving that the ubi launcher is a useless add-on on top of the game itself.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I have become comfortable with not owning Ubisoft games.
Ubisoft account wont let me log in anymore and when I try to reset my password, i just get an "error" message with no explanation. Obviously customer support has been of no support whatsoever because Ubisoft and Ive exhausted every other option, just being led in a circle. Because of this, I cant play ANY Ubisoft game, including any of the ones Ive had for a long time. So no, I would not recommend this or any Ubisoft game ever, and F*CK UBISOFT, thoroughly.
What a unique game this is - and I haven't been able to play it since 2012~ - until now! thanks gaben, Proton11beta fixed it. For anyone looking at From Dust and was diswayed by the negative reviews regarding the Ubislop™ connect launcher, especially if you are on Linux, give it a shot > launch, install ubislop™ launcher > login to the launcher > close the launcher from tray > wait and steam will re-launch the launcher now that you are logged in
♥♥♥♥ 3rd party launchers, to this day i have not actually been able to play this game.
I have like 6 100% completions off steam of this game. It's honestly not even that crazy of a game I just have a fixation on water lol The way the water physics work has always mystified me, especially getting it to work on an xbox 360, it's always been one of those dreams of mine to make a little prototype or something to recreate it and mess around with it
This is the first God-game I've played. I've always dreamt of playing Black & White games, but was never able to as its never been ported or brought to any PC platform which made the game a lost relic. The mechanics are unlike anything I've seen and its interesting this kind of tech hasn't been used in other games since (that I know of). The way you terraform the landscape and how it changes with even the smallest alteration makes it very realistic. It's really addictive, and again, the mechanics have me in awe.
For those who have had issues, I recently installed this game. It launched with no problems after installing the latest version of Ubisoft's launcher that auto-installs with game launch.
Wish I could replay this but I can't anymore due to the launcher.
If Ubisoft still made games like this, they wouldn't have the problems they're having right now.
