Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean is an ambitious real-time tactics and stealth game that takes the familiar structure of squad-based infiltration and gives it a colorful pirate identity. Developed by Mercat Games and published by FreeMind S.A., it places players in command of a mismatched crew of sea rogues operating during the golden age of piracy. Rather than concentrating on naval combat or open-world exploration, the game focuses on carefully navigating hostile locations, studying enemy movements, coordinating specialized characters, and finding creative ways to overcome opponents who generally have the numerical advantage. It is an appealing concept, particularly for players who enjoy methodical tactical games where observation and planning matter more than reflexes. The adventure centers on Samuel, an aspiring young pirate captain whose search for answers about his father's mysterious fate gradually develops into something considerably larger. His journey involves gathering an unusual crew, searching for valuable treasure, confronting the British Royal Navy, and investigating supernatural legends scattered throughout the Caribbean. Cursed islands, mermaids, mysterious creatures, political intrigue, family secrets, and legendary treasures give the narrative a mixture of historical piracy and supernatural fantasy. The premise is intentionally adventurous rather than realistic, creating something closer to a pirate legend brought into an isometric tactical game. Its core gameplay revolves around controlling multiple characters with different abilities. Enemy forces are often stronger in direct confrontation, encouraging the player to observe patrol routes and determine how individual guards can be isolated. Successful encounters can involve distracting enemies, sneaking around their vision, coordinating character abilities, and eliminating threats without alerting everyone nearby. The emphasis on real-time decision-making means that situations can change quickly when a carefully constructed plan goes wrong. Improvisation therefore becomes an important part of the experience rather than merely a punishment for failure. One of the more entertaining aspects of the design is the ability to manipulate the environment. Players are not limited to conventional attacks and stealth takedowns. Stacks of crates can become improvised weapons, tar can be used to create fiery hazards, and parts of the environment such as masts can be exploited against unsuspecting enemies. These interactions help reinforce the fantasy of controlling resourceful pirates who win through cunning rather than military discipline. Discovering unconventional solutions is often more satisfying than simply following an obvious route through a mission. The individual crew members also give tactical encounters greater variety because each character contributes a distinct collection of abilities. Learning how these skills complement one another becomes increasingly important as encounters grow more complicated. The strongest moments come when several actions are coordinated successfully, allowing the crew to dismantle a seemingly overwhelming enemy position piece by piece. Conversely, poor positioning or badly timed actions can turn an orderly infiltration into chaos. This combination of preparation and improvisation gives the game much of its personality. Another interesting element is the distinction between lethal and non-lethal behavior. Players can approach situations as relatively restrained pirates who avoid unnecessary killing or embrace a much more violent interpretation of piracy. The concept extends beyond immediate combat because Samuel's behavior can affect how his companions perceive him. Different personalities within the crew may respect certain decisions while disapproving of others, potentially creating tension and even the threat of mutiny. This attempts to make leadership part of the pirate fantasy rather than treating the supporting cast purely as interchangeable tactical units. Visually, the isometric perspective suits the tactical structure because it provides a broad view of patrol routes, environmental opportunities, and potential dangers. Ships, harbors, islands, and other Caribbean locations also give the campaign a stronger thematic identity than a generic military setting would have provided. The stylized presentation complements the adventurous tone, while the combination of conventional pirate imagery and supernatural elements allows the environments to become increasingly unusual as the story explores legends and curses. The game's biggest weakness is that its ideas are stronger than the consistency of their execution. Real-time tactical stealth depends heavily on precise controls, readable enemy behavior, dependable pathfinding, and predictable interactions. When any of these systems feel awkward, the satisfaction of carefully planning an encounter can quickly turn into frustration. Frigato can consequently feel rougher than the best examples of the genre. Its difficulty can amplify these shortcomings because a mistake caused by unclear feedback or mechanical awkwardness feels considerably less rewarding than a failure caused by poor tactical judgment. There is nevertheless a respectable amount of creativity behind the project. The pirate setting is unusually well suited to this type of gameplay, and the combination of specialized crew members, environmental manipulation, stealth, lethal and non-lethal approaches, supernatural mysteries, and companion reactions gives the game more personality than its relatively modest production might initially suggest. Players willing to tolerate rough edges may discover an interesting tactical adventure beneath them, particularly if they enjoy experimenting with different approaches instead of demanding perfectly polished systems. Steam Deck compatibility is less straightforward. The Steam store listing does not present the game as officially Steam Deck Verified or Playable, so it should be regarded as having no official Deck compatibility rating rather than assumed to provide a fully optimized handheld experience. The game is designed primarily around Windows PC, and its tactical interface and control requirements may also make a mouse-and-keyboard-style configuration preferable in some situations. Players interested specifically in handheld play should therefore approach it with the expectation that additional control configuration or compatibility adjustments could be necessary. Overall, Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean deserves credit for combining pirate adventure with squad-oriented real-time tactical stealth instead of following the more predictable naval or action-adventure formula. Its environmental interactions, varied characters, morality-oriented choices, supernatural storyline, and emphasis on improvisation create an appealing foundation. Unfortunately, uneven mechanical polish prevents those ideas from consistently reaching their potential. For dedicated fans of stealth tactics who are attracted to the pirate theme, it can still provide an unusual and occasionally clever experience, but newcomers looking for a highly refined introduction to the genre may find its rough edges difficult to overlook.
