Fragrance Point

A funky game where you do funky things to funky music. It's funky. The controls might make things a little difficult, though... Yeah, a popular criticism/turn-off with this game seems to be the clunky movement, and I can't disagree. HOWEVER. If you're willing to stomach it; maybe even get used to it? I think this is a FANTASTIC game with a lot of charm. The [i]music[/i] is definitely the highlight for me, with some visuals and animations syncing up to it and giving the sense that it's all diagetic. It's also [b]D Y N A M I C[/b] and will swap in new layers depending on your progress! It's cool!!!!!! [b][u]I WILL give the fair warnings, though:[/u][/b] [list] [*] I'm currently on my third playthrough to try and 100% the game? I've gotten used to the controls at this point. I think it's fun to speed around and go NYOOOOM!!! ... That is DEFINITELY not how it starts out. The controls were a genuine turn-off for me during my [i]first[/i] run. But I trudged through it. Up to [i]you[/i] whether that's worth the effort for [i]you[/i]. [*]This game is vague as ♥♥♥♥. I was able to figure out most things [i]eventually[/i] just by, y'know, walking around, but there's a specific interaction at the end of the game that I had to look up because I COULD NOT glean what to do. For anyone curious on what it was: [spoiler]It's that ♥♥♥♥♥♥' robot that screams HELLOOOOO and has, like, bladed legs and spins around at you. I STILL don't know what you're supposed to do to make it dizzy, even after beating it twice.[/spoiler] [*]If you're looking to get all the achievements, just have this tip in mind that you REALLY wanna exhaust your options in every location before progressing anything. It's not very clear when some things become inaccessible, and it can be very easy to look something over. [/list] Everything said, this game is pretty short once you get a handle on how things go. If you get the Bad Ending on your first go (Very Likely), future runs should go [i]muuuuch[/i] faster.

The most visually interesting game I've ever played. Most unique game I've played in many years, the crazy vibrant and alien art-style that screams to your eyes non stop with very cool world design, and really fun platforming collectathon gameplay makes for a very unique and fun experience. I can not stress how highly underrated this game is.

Inscrutable, but very satisfying once you figure out whats going on. I loved talking to all the weird aliens and drifting around at high speed knocking evrything over. Banger soundscape too, kudos.
