Reason I’m giving this a thumbs down is because in order the steer while skiing down a cliff you have to tilt your head side to side to steer. Dumbest mechanic in vr I’ve ever seen. They should let you steer with the thumb stick or hand controls. Steering by tilting your head makes it impossible to shoot enemies without crashing into a tree. I found the only way to shoot enemies while skiing was to blindly shoot to the side in hopes I’d hit them so I could keep my head straight. Steering with your head is not only uncomfortable but will cause vr newbies to get motion sickness. On a positive note I liked that you could physically grab cover to move around it while shooting. But the whole skiing part frustrated me enough that I turned the game off and returned it.
- - - What's wrong with this game? I have about 50 VR games and only know the term motion sickness from comments. This game almost had me puking all over my office after the first 8 minutes. Incomprehensible. A bug, I was skiing and suddenly everything was spinning, without the possibility of influence, then I fell through the ground, spinning... like in a nightmare. A day later I managed 20 minutes, but afterwards it took me 2 hours to get clear again. Where does it come from? I'll give it a third try, but if it goes like that again, I'll have to give it back, unfortunately. I like the graphics, the feel is also good, I like the whole beginning. You don't really know why you're there or what you're supposed to do, but I've long since gotten used to that in the VR world. But here you are well guided, there are a few fights, climbing, etc. It's fun until - well... see above. Update after 1 hour of play: I still feel nauseous. I guess that I have the impression that you can see a lot, but you can hardly make out any information from what you see, everything is boarded up, etc., it seems as if your brain is saying: Look there, that, uh, what is that actually. But there is no time for this in the game because this is pure action. A real problem, however, is that you can't just save, you have to finish a whole chapter. But since the phone or the front door rings every now and then... that's sometimes not suitable for everyday use. You can probably save on the Plasystation from the device, but on the PC this should be set up separately in the game when portioning out. Otherwise the graphics are great, the gaming experience is good, I would have loved to play it, but it doesn't work because of motion sickness.
Short and fun!
While being quite janky it's still adrenaline packed fun. Get it on a deep sale
the enemies were baddies 10/10
