The game dev support AI art and Artist getting their work stolen to train AI I do not recommend buying this game. (I bought the game before I knew about this sadly) Don't listen to the game dev lies, I got proofs for anyone interested ^^
Foxlore had caught my attention through the Got Anthro? curator on Steam. I hadn’t heard of it before and didn’t know it started as a Kickstarter project, but I’m glad I gave it a shot The game leans into a narrative experience with exploration and puzzle solving at it's core. I really appreciated the small accessibility touches — like puzzles that snap into place when pieces are close, and the inclusion of hint options for puzzles. It's a nice balance between being approachable and occasionally difficult, which didn't frustrate me and kept me engaged I actually do like the pixel art, the environments, characters, and UI all have an appealing style to them. That said, there are some early-release bugs that occurred when I was playing: I found myself soft-locked
outside the church gate
and had to reload, the journal and puzzle UI elements sometimes overlap, and movement speed can be sped up by zigzagging. I also noticed some events (like the
metro train
) can be replayed (don't know if that’s intentional) The story kept me pretty engaged as it went on, especially during the
metro badge quest, the city area, and the church
. The world is a decent size, I wouldn’t be surprised if I missed a few small things along the way to interact. I’ve played through and seen both endings, and they wrapped things up nicely All in all it’s got some rough spots, but the amount of passion and effort behind it really comes through. it’s a creative project that stands out. If you enjoy narrative puzzle games with unique vibes and can forgive a few technical hiccups. Entirely worth your time!

I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to play this game. The story and puzzles were super engaging! And my god the music is SOOOOO good. I ended up buying the soundtrack so I can listen to it more. I am super excited to see what the developer adds in the future as well as seeing a possible sequel. I will 100% be playing this again :D I can't wait to find out how Filo is doing
Hard puzzle
фурри новелла, редкость
I'm stuck in Smoke & Mirror puzzle but although the game is really fun but the problem I'm just stuck in a level :3 10/10 recommend getting this game
The music is nice, it is honestly my favorite part of the game, and the mystery of the story is interesting enough to keep you looking for more. I personally am not that into to furry games but if you are then the characters could be a positive. Interesting and funny conversations had between characters are plus for any person to make the story flow. The puzzles are neat and I could see them being a challenge if you have never done any puzzles before, but them being harder could have been good. then the art style matches really well with the tone of the game leading to an overall nice game to play. The game is definitely worth a buy if you are into all it has to offer or even just parts of it.
Quite the enjoyable experience. The puzzles are fun, the soundtrack bops, and I like the characters. Some glitches here and there, but the dev has been quick to fix them. Give it a whirl!
Very well put together, the puzzles don't just baby you through them and you actually have to think. I love how although youre following the main story path you can still side track for more tricky puzzles. Also no spoilers but the ending is great. Also the reference to dont touch my pizza made me so happy!!!!!
The atmosphere in this game is so immersive despite the simple graphics. The music and the dialogue really make it feel like you're part of the world of Foxlore. I enjoyed most of the puzzles (there was one in particular that I did not understand) but the game and story are overall very well crafted.
