For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Leaving this review to counteract the recent review bombing. So, a player and outube named Cloud_was recently banned for a little while because he was given access to a private beta of the Firebird DLC to play around wit. He was told not to share it publicly, and he took it as him being able to share it with his friends. TLDR; he broke a legal contract, and so Earthwork (the devs of the game) issued a temporary ban for 60 days aswell as removing some of his virtual bling. Anyways, long story short, people in the Discord and Steam gotty hissy and complained to the devs, leading them to reduce his ban to the day of the Firebird release and restore his, like, in-game content creator badge and stuff. Okay, the reason I'm writing this review is because the recent negative reviews that came as a result of this are, let's face it, a little silly. Earthwork could've SUED the guy and won, seeing as it was a breach of contract, but they didn't. Additionally, the devs did infact listen to outrage amongst the community. To all the people who think the game isn't in good hands are failing to consider that they made amends with Cloud in the first place. The game gets frequent enough updates for a game of this size, and, well, y'know? It's a damn good game! The community's great, the devs listen to us, there's built-in mod support, and the physics-based strategizing is brillant. All the DLCs thus far (Moonshot, Hgh Seas) add new weapons that are astoundingly fun to play with, and add so, SO much more variety! It's great. Additionally, if you're in a multiplayer game, only the host of the server needs to own the mods in order for everyone in the game to use it. Point is, I love Forts. It's a wonderfully crafted game and it's always nice to see a game with devs that listen to the community. Also, one of the moderators is a Hichhiker's fan, so that's pretty schweet too.
Game is good.
Love this game.
Forts is a great game for strategists and anyone looking for some chaos. The base game has tons of content, with plenty of weapons, fun devices, and other fun stuff. The built in map editor allows you to make your own map from scratch, which really isn't that hard once you do it and there is a guide on Steam to help you. The DLCs are packed with content, featuring many new weapons, mechanics, and fun campaigns. About the campaigns, the base game features one campaign called the Black Gold campaign, and serves as the base for all the lore in the game. If you buy a DLC, it is highly recommended to complete the Black Gold campaign before the DLC's campaign as all three DLCs depend on the base game's lore for context. Also, something almost nobody knows is that you can make your own campaign! There is a template in the Steam Workshop, along with more mods than you could ever want. Speaking about mods, you can easily make one yourself! While there is no built-in mod creator, it is actually quite simple to make one, no coding experience required. The guides on Steam can help, but won't tell you everything. The core principle, however, is just copying and pasting code from the base game and changing things like the name, health, and other stats of your addition. You can also do many other things easily, like modifying existing content, both from the game and other mods. Other than campaigns and modding, you can also play skirmishes against a bot with a difficulty of your choice, sandbox, where you can control both teams and basically play a match against yourself, and what many consider the best part, multiplayer. You can play with up to seven other people in a standard lobby, choosing maps, mods, and other settings, or you can play ranked. I don't know much about ranked, other than that you get a rank from it (obviously) that is determined by the amount of games you win or lose. If you do decide to buy the game and maybe the DLCs, make sure to read the dialogue when doing the campaigns, as it is quite entertaining.
Do you like cannons? Do you like building? Well, this game has that and more. From machine guns to mortars, even to the fancy lasers. You can have it all, or you can simply rush missiles and rain nukes down upon your opponents.
