Добротная карточная стратегия на контроль территорий. Любителям варгеймов покажется слишком простой, любителям стратегий слишком рандомной, но в общем это хорошая игра для входа начинающих игроков в подобный жанр настольных игр.
Too simple and short.
Unique game.
Easy to learn game with enough variety and challenge not to drive you crazy. Sometimes you win and other times the computers wins, but you don't feel cheated out of several hours with nothing to show for it.
VERY COOL, TRY WINNING AS THE SOUTH
Good adaptation of the physical game with no bugs found. If you like the board game, get this.
This game is easy to learn, fun, and reasonably quick (I only have 7 hours logged and both learned to play and have played 30 games against the AI). I would highly recommend it. The only issues are that there is no online presence in the matchmaking system so you are limited to playing against the AI (I chronically have a game in the matchmaking but have seen no others) and the AI; while not bad, is not good either (My record against it is 26-4).
Simple, thematic area control. It will entertain for an evening.
This took a couple cups of coffee and some concentration to follow. Once I started playing it was fun and educational to a degree. Well priced on sale. GRIPES: does horrible job of keeping stats. i want breakdowns at all levels to analyze and track overtime. It only gives you the final score. There should be summary scoring by round. It should show things like who won/lost objectives each round which determine where points are distributed Even the LOG does NOT show that. It should show the type and results of the final 3 crisis cards played There should be more cards or objectives or variety. There should be more things to learn about this short time span era as you play the game. You cannot use your same profiles on different computers!!!! I hope there are upgrades coming as I want to continue playing.
Conflicted review here. Great game, and I've been playing this on my tablet too - loving this short, succinct game system (another win for Mark Herman, once again). That said, it seems that the IOS version is in a much more polished state, as constant crashes on the PC version are present, seemingly out of the blue. Just had 4 crashes in one saved game (on PC). Hopefully Playdek will see this and address this, although, as the Steam release is already 2 years in, I'm not so confident. I have some hope though. In a wrap, I'm a little torn on whether to recommend this for PC over IOS (let alone over the IRL version), as my impression is that there are still some problems to be resolved. Playdek seems to be pretty on the ball with their GMT adaptations, so I have hope. At this point though, I may have to give a negative recommendation (although a neutral recommendation might've been more appropriate, if it existed), at least until those bugs are squished. That said, not everyone has a tablet, and if you ARE a fan of this game, and are willing to put up with a few crashes here and there (with a prompt autosave system no less), then definitely give this a go. You've been warned, however.
