one of the best bad games i've ever played.
Good game.
:)
Hey gidi günler hey... eskiden internet kafede sık oynadığım oyunlardan biriydi, ne zamandır arıyordum ve Steam'de görünce geçmiş anılarım debreşti ^^", bazı patron mekanikleri sıkıcı ve sinir bozucu olabiliyor ama onun haricinde eski kısa (5-6 saatlik) oyunlardan biri, geçmiş günleri anmak için oynayacağım oyunlardan biri.
a game from my childhood <3
Although I'm giving it a thumbs up, I took forever to get around to playing this all the way through because even on easy level, the constant swarms of enemies ruined this game for me. Then I found a trainer that allowed god mode and maxed rage meters because your teammates seemed to NEVER get theirs up to full strength and you are frequently interrupted in fights so your rage meter goes down. Let's do some negatives first: - CTRL to jump? WTF??? Using WSAD to move and trying to jump ledge to ledge when the stupid camera locks or moves on its own while you're lining up the jump was so frustrating. You have no camera control. - Swarm after swarm of enemies against 3....THREE heroes. You are totally surrounded like the game Gauntlet and are constantly knocked down and have to get up to fight. Oh yeah..you got knocked down so your rage meter dropped and you can't use a power attack to break them up. (Trainer for maxed rage helped a lot) - Long boss battles due to weak heroes. When you fight the snake god monster, it gets stronger the more it eats. Enemies ignore you while you're hitting them and he eats them anyway so you have to put them down FAST. Then, part 2 of that fight, you have to free the demon stone but the god pounds you to death if you get too close to hit the stone. "Hit and run, hit and run" tactic took forever. Using maxed rage and god mode made it NOT impossible. - Fighting the dragon. Poor character dialogue got me killed over and over. She says to "put the dragon in a trance". "Hold monster" is T+RMB it does nothing. I tried and tried every time it got dazed and it just kept waking up and killing us. I learned you have to switch through all 3 heroes??? Use the sorcerer up close basic attack(?) and it holds it in place. Switch to the Drow and she attacks the head bringing it down to ground level. Then switch to the fighter to do a finishing blow. If I need a walkthrough to figure out how to fight a boss, what's the point? - No counter for $ picked up. You don't know how much $ you found until the end of the chapter. I guess this is like D&D type games where you sort loot at the end of the fight. - "Fight the big boss!" I can't while it keeps spawning swarms of enemies. The trainer for maxed rage let me take out large groups (with "R" key) but you get swarmed again so fast, you only get a few shots at a boss enemy that is a coward who hides in the distance and constantly stuns you or knocks you down. - Game is VERY short. Finished in about one day. GOOD: - It's old school D&D story telling. I liked that. Throwing 3 heroes together who have to learn their strengths/weaknesses is very TTRP style. - I never really worried about gold or EXP to upgrade gear and skills. It felt pretty balanced. But..I think using maxed rage trainer gave me exp boosts for using power moves. - Characters and classes were cool. Unique abilities set to specific classes. but, I hated using CTRL and ALT to do combos or special moves. (Negative) Can't remap keys. - Traps are only in one area and they are all lit up like a glowing "I'm right here!" sign. Having to search for traps is what makes TTRPG type games fun. I just have to jump over them? That's super easy as long as the map camera stays pointed fwd. It was fun in god mode (when needed) and being able to use power moves more. I would have liked a prologue where the heroes start to get tired of peace and go out for adventure sometimes. Small dungeon crawls.
Awesome game!
