Forgotten Lore is a TCG that includes a leveling system, with PvP (or NPC) matches. There is a limited card set, but a workshop that allows players to contribute in the creation of cards. Unfortunately, I find the latter quite tedious at such an early release. The community is very small, and the game presents itself more like an early access instead due to the bugs, and poor rendering of graphics. These bugs range from minor to major, including: -The Fyre is Heaven card is broken, at which you cannot use any actions with that card upon summon. -Khais, Breiru and possible other cards has the text “Placeholder” over the image … -I gain 0 exp/gold at a threshold for playing matches against a Bot. This limits my ability to progress, because there is nearly no one who plays PvP. The graphics and animations all feel very bland, and outdated. At times even delayed, and you no longer see the glow around cards that can perform an action. There’s no speed-up button or auto-play too, making the features in a match very limited. Its music is also meh. Nothing memorable. However, the pictures on the cards, do look nice. Each creature, item and spell has its own artwork, in which helps present the physical appearance of the said card. The balancing of the cards was also done well, in regards to the cost, in Souls, to summon cards and which Tome you chose to play with. You have 3 types of Tomes to choose from (the Leech Tome, being default but change-able). Anyone else notice the agreement, prior to downloading:
The following terms must be accepted if you wish to play Forgotten Lore: I love video games. If you find these acceptable, please accept the terms and continue. Thanks for installing the game!
I had a good laugh reading it. To summarize my review - the game does suit its genre and and has much potential, especially with the Community workshop; However, it still feels very incomplete, and needs much polishing before it can become official. I also hope to see more content in the IG shop too, since Basic pack is the only available item in shop at the moment.

Сделали ребята ККИ, но вот не задача, никто в это не играет, даже обзоров не смогли накупить. На данный момент сервера закрыты.
Forgotten Lore is a fun and decent card game that died pretty fast, there is hardly anyone that plays on multiplayer but the bot matches are still enjoyable even tho they are really easy to beat with a basic deck (you can get xp and coins from a hand full of matches a day), the game is not being updated anymore and workshop items that are made are not being added to the game. If you are interested in Steam inventory items this game has x30 cards on start-up (not tradable or marketable) and you can buy a pack in the game shop for 200 coins each and open them for 3 cards per pack. You have a chance at 0-3 card drops at the end of each match. Steam Inventory Guide
only downside right now is that it's "mildly" unbalanced and that the amount of cards is pretty low i'd suggest waiting a bit for more cards to come out, or just wait until it's out of early access it's fun otherwise
Forgotten Lore — мертвая ККИшка. Название соответствует действительности, игрушка заброшена и забыта, запустить её можно, дабы подивиться на список друзей с ней, но вот сыграть не выйдет, серверов нет. Как итог: такие дела.
This review is a bit of a placeholder until I get some real hours under my belt, but, given 1. the developer support 2. the fact that this game was just bundled, meaning that 3. people are probably flooding the page, wondering whether or not it's worth it 4. are probably wary of bot-flooded reviews, I wanted to give my two cents. I just finished up my first match, and I found it to be a surprisingly in-depth, imaginative experience. I've never played Magic: The Gathering, but, if you ever remember playing Yu-Gi-Oh (Or, heck, if you still play it. XD), the game isn't /too/ much different. There seem to be enough cards to provide a pretty nuanced experience, though, I'll have to see what advanced deck-building is like. Each match seems to take around 25 or so minutes, by my estimate. Player hit points are high enough, and there are enough "black hole cards", to keep every match relatively viable until near the very end. I was able to find a match pretty quickly, despite it having been 3:30 A.M. Given all the people probably brought here from the bundle, this is probably a great time to try it. I posted a query in the discussion section, and was given a prompt and extremely informative response within a few minutes that detailed everything I needed to know, with instructions on how to accomplish it. It's pretty clear the developer cares, which is pretty important to these Early Access games. Anyway, this game is actually pretty fun. If you ever cared about Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon TCG, Magic: The Gathering (I think), or even just think you might like a card game, this one seems to be pretty well-done.

Easy to pick up and play card game. Simple yet fun. I find myself coming back to it day after day trying to get every possible card to complete my collection. So far the games good in it's early stages. As more cards and players come into the game it can only get better! Currently it's in need of a larger card library and innovative new cards to add some more strategy to it. Dev's for this game are open to idea's and listening! (always a plus!) Players can make and decide on new cards through the workshop! As of this review I still have not played a player vs player match and really wish I knew of some people to play against. Biggest downfall of the game to me is currently just player count. I'm hoping that this game picks up player count and gets the chance it deserves. Buy Forgotten Lore in Early Access and help support the developers and the games future!
Linux support thank you for that! This game has GREAT potential ahead. Plays good too, really light. The card art is "mature" like Magic, looks cool, could have more detail on the resolution I think. Gameplay is the only point I found not good, at least for me I could have a more simplistic way to put cards, feels clunky at times, but nothing heavy. The card market is fair and growing, finally I can sell and trade cards with people on a online game :D LOVING the game, I waited so long for a TCG to arrive on Linux, hope to see more cards options and the game to shine! :D
