Forgotten Hill: The Wardrobe

Мне кажется, разработчики не тестировали эту игру перед выпуском. Могла бы быть лучшая часть серии, но все портят именно странные недоработки. Например, игра требует инвертировать код для привлечения ворон, но в инструкциях об этом ни слова. Догадаться можно только посмотрев официальное прохождение на ютубе. В отличие от предыдущих частей нет совместимости со стим деком. Причем, видно, что задумка была обратной: добавлена навигация между экранами при помощи стрелок геймпада, но зачем-то убрали единственно удобное управление курсором при помощи трек пада. Ребятки, наймите отдельного тестировщика))

creepy puzzle game 8/10

解谜过程太冗长太复杂，而且无趣，为了解开一个谜题往往需要几个场景来回穿梭，还要在手册里不停翻找线索。前两章还有些动力去解谜，到后面无聊到几乎全是跳过，硬撑着做完了全成就，太折磨了。

This game is like the opposite of an escape room. All you want to do is lock that wardrobe up and hide the key forever. Nothing good comes out of there. It’s like a monkey paw world, twisting your wishes into a mockery of life itself. I never played anything by FM Studio before. Literally only discovered them now. Somehow after having played through all of Rusty Lake games, my Steam algorithm still didn't realize that yes I'd like more of that please. If Rusty Lake games are spooky, then FM Studio is their grotesque cousin. Not in a bad way! Though potentially in a triggery way. I saw the previews and knew it was going to be grisly, so, like, I’m not surprised. More like I’m jarred far more than I guessed I’d be. This leans heavily into body horror and gore, and I had to step away a few times because it freaked me out more than I anticipated. There was even one point that I got jarred so badly that I completely missed the item sitting right in front of my face and then ended up angrily stuck in the game. With that said, this game still managed to scratch my itch for a point-and-click with advanced puzzles that were challenging in a good way. It’s hard but fair. The solutions are mostly intuitive enough that if you actually read through the stuff in your inventory, you’ll have the clues you need. Just don’t overthink things because it’s fairly straightforward in the end, never as convoluted as you fear. If you do get stuck, there’s a handy hint system, which I definitely used on some occasions ([spoiler]how was I supposed to parse that “for my second birthday party” means he’s 2yo and it’s not simply him having this year's birthday party part two electric boogaloo lmao[/spoiler]). And even if you don’t want the hints themselves, if there’s a box with a “?” appearing on the top right corner of the screen, that’s a hint in itself that there’s a puzzle on that screen. You can also click the “?” simply to check whether you’ve collected all the clues/pieces necessary to solve the puzzle—it’ll say “something is missing” otherwise, which helped me immensely in making sure I wasn’t banging my head against the wall on something I only thought I had enough clues for. Never before have I played a 2D point-and-click where I actually dread clicking on things to discover what’s inside. I’m very impressed. Thanks, I hate it, five stars.

ДА ♥♥♥♥ Я РОТ ЭТОГО ФОРГГОТЕН ХИЛЛ

25.3.25 2月已经打完一周目，最近为了全成就又小刷了一下。 我果然还是不喜欢黑暗力学，后面那部分还好，前面有关钟表和齿轮的部分令我头秃。微笑的代价那章应该是比较简单的一部i分，很遗憾作为中国人，我不是很能get到“牙仙”的恐怖点在哪，不过被掰掉满口牙齿——想想确实痛痛,,,,< 从画面上来讲我更喜欢两姐妹，血腥且富有震撼力和视觉冲击力的画面才是我的最爱，这种纯正FH味简直欲罢不能！只可惜玩完这部FH的全系列就全部结束了，但或许以后我会再次重温的。 SEE U AT THE FORGOTTEN HILL.

Если разработчик еще как то пытался сделать более менее логические загадки в прошлых частях, которые можно было решить не методом тыка и где вправду нужно было думать, то на разработке данного продукта он либо обдалбался, либо просто решил забить челен и сделал загадки на поxyй, которые без подсказок не решить (и то подсказками только и скипать загадки, потому что полезную информацию подсказки в этой игре не содержат) За сюжетом я особо в прошлых частях не следил, но могу заявить что в этой части сюжет полная xyeта и очень нудный. Ибо без какого либо контекста каким то xyeм этот злоeбучий шкаф перемещается от одного персонажа к другому и приносит смерть. Однако из всего этого меня пугает то что в игре присутствует мел, который походу не понимает что вы рисуете и не засчитывает решение загадки. Разрабу советую не выпускать следующую часть

这真的是续作吗？简直无语……有些谜题的答案简直匪夷所思，我至今都不明白衣柜里的箱子密码为什么是那样排列的！！匪夷所思！！！！！！！

The puzzles were a great variety and the story was really intriguing. I love the art style! I'd definitely play again & will be exploring the others in this series!
