About
The truth is in the details.
In Forensics: Crime Scene Detective, you are the scientific authority that provides investigators with the facts. Your work begins when the sirens fade and silence settles over the crime scene.

With a cool head and a trained eye, you enter apartments, bars, and basements where something unimaginable has happened — or is said to have happened. Equipped with professional tools, you search for what others miss: a subtle fingerprint on a wine glass, a deleted message on a smartphone, a tiny blood spatter that casts doubt on a statement.

From Crime Scene to Laboratory:
Securing evidence is only the beginning. In the lab, the evidence tells its story. You compare DNA profiles, reconstruct bullet trajectories, decrypt digital devices, and piece together fragments into a clear overall picture. Your analyses incriminate perpetrators — or exonerate the innocent. Not every bloody crime scene is a murder. And not everything that seems obvious is the truth.

“Based on the experience and insights of experts from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate (LKA RLP).”
With professional guidance from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate, the game portrays forensic work as authentically as possible. Experience cases drawn from real life: sober, logical, and relentless in their evaluation of evidence. Find the traces. Analyze the facts. Reveal the truth.

Realistic Forensics:
Use authentic tools such as DNA swabs, fingerprint powder, ballistic trajectory rods, and digital forensic tools.
16 authentic Cases, Real Methods:
Missions are inspired by real scenarios and based on the experience and insights of real experts from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate (LKA RLP).
Crime Scene Work & Laboratory Analysis:
The gameplay loop challenges you twice — first through meticulous crime scene investigation, then through logical data analysis in the lab.
Incriminate or Exonerate:
Your work determines the fate of suspects. Discover whether it was self-defense, murder, an accident, or a staged crime scene.
Your Instinct Matters:
You decide which traces are relevant. Overlooked evidence can leave a case unsolved.

Loved the demo, forgave the bugs. Excited for release. Released game is nothing different than the demo. Still has the bugs. Requires major work on bug fixes. Electronic Chip Bug (Still exists from the demo) During heating chip segment for electronics, if you drop the chip after heating it on the table, there's now way to recover it. You're now stuck. You can't remove the electronic device, you can't progress. Stuck at it on 1st tutorial. Tried so many different things. Now I've just requested refund.
FIX THE PHOTO ANGEL FOR THE PHONES UNDER THE BAR!!!!!!! Also its really annoying having to constantly walk to and back from a to b for damn plastick standups and postit notes! the rest ist rather fun.

I was on my way to confirm that Dexter was the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bay harbor butcher..... But I had gotten stuck on the mission shooting mishap with no way to progress, even starting a new game. I need the devs to release a patch to fix the mission bug, I need to catch the bay harbor butcher.
Not played a lot yet but first impressions are amazing. Run's great on the SD, from what I've read in reviews and discussions about he game since release, most negativity appears to be utter nonsense. A lot of complaints about not being able to reuse evidence markers which the developer has stated is intentional due to real life contamination procedures. Others about the tutorial which I had 0 issues with any of the 4 cases. Anyone interested in this game I would urge you to look past the negative reviews and formulate your own opinion after trying the game.
I have requested a refund... the idea of the game is spot on, the execution however is terrible, 'tutorial' cases dont even give you the full information you need to get through them. I get its just come out but I was actually looking forward to playing this and it just feels like such a let down compared to what I thought it would be like. I am not big on leaving negative reviews unless I feel something really deserves it and in my opinion this one does, good concept just very poorly executed.
the UI is bad the controlls are just weird for me it was a running around simulator didnt enjoy it one bit
I've only played it 36 minutes, yes, but A: I played a couple hours the demo before it came out and B: This review isn't about the Game, but rather about the devs. This game came out 4 days ago. Got a lot of harsh critiques - some, rightfully so. And I still think there is a lot to improve, like, why do I need to put the camera out and only then can take smth else and not directly can take smth else or have multiple things in my hands or some kind of toolbelt or why is there not a single crime scene with all types of evidence and I just need to find all the evidence whatever I find and it's not "go and find" without telling what to find. Anyhow. We're day 4 after launch. We're also at Patch 4 after launch. Every Day since launch there has been a patch improving just a few things. Not perfect, sure, but in comparison to other devs who need months for fixes, this is great. I am recommending this not for the game it is right now, but for the potential and the amound of work the devs put into it
I got bored and irritated and logged out within less then 20 minutes.
Sometimes the game is a bit tedious, having to match tons of fingerprints manually and having some of the matches somehow not be correct despite them being exact (which has been worked on, and I'm grateful for that). The game is truly fun to play and work through the cases as the guy behind the desk working just with the evidence. I'm really looking forward to more cases coming out and hopefully a bit more in-depth ways to solve cases.
