Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The truth is in the details.
In Forensics: Crime Scene Detective, you are the scientific authority that provides investigators with the facts. Your work begins when the sirens fade and silence settles over the crime scene.

With a cool head and a trained eye, you enter apartments, bars, and basements where something unimaginable has happened — or is said to have happened. Equipped with professional tools, you search for what others miss: a subtle fingerprint on a wine glass, a deleted message on a smartphone, a tiny blood spatter that casts doubt on a statement.

From Crime Scene to Laboratory:
Securing evidence is only the beginning. In the lab, the evidence tells its story. You compare DNA profiles, reconstruct bullet trajectories, decrypt digital devices, and piece together fragments into a clear overall picture. Your analyses incriminate perpetrators — or exonerate the innocent. Not every bloody crime scene is a murder. And not everything that seems obvious is the truth.

“Based on the experience and insights of experts from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate (LKA RLP).”
With professional guidance from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate, the game portrays forensic work as authentically as possible. Experience cases drawn from real life: sober, logical, and relentless in their evaluation of evidence. Find the traces. Analyze the facts. Reveal the truth.

Realistic Forensics:
Use authentic tools such as DNA swabs, fingerprint powder, ballistic trajectory rods, and digital forensic tools.
16 authentic Cases, Real Methods:
Missions are inspired by real scenarios and based on the experience and insights of real experts from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate (LKA RLP).
Crime Scene Work & Laboratory Analysis:
The gameplay loop challenges you twice — first through meticulous crime scene investigation, then through logical data analysis in the lab.
Incriminate or Exonerate:
Your work determines the fate of suspects. Discover whether it was self-defense, murder, an accident, or a staged crime scene.
Your Instinct Matters:
You decide which traces are relevant. Overlooked evidence can leave a case unsolved.

I'd give it, will be better in a year. Right now a lot of polishing is needed. Also there is a limit to how much you can polish this project due to it being Unity based. Meaning unless they move over to Unreal you won't get the hyper realistic textures that are supposed to come with this "realistic" simulator. Overall, the game appears to be mostly accurate forensic-wise. -Barely any options or accessability options. -No option to skip the very long tutorial. -No realistic graphics in a want to be realistic simulator. -Constant mentions of: This Police Station is great, feels washed very quickly. 3/10 - ☆✭★★★ Wouldn't reccommend in current time, In my opinion if they work on it, could be relevant in a year or two.

It's mostly a really fun game. I can't speak to how good the tutorial was, because I figured everything out in the demo through hours of trial and error, meaning I had already figured out the mechanics. Or so I thought. No matter what I do, I can't get 100% on the fingerprint analysis. I checked the tutorial, but the only fingerprints I didn't match up were those that didn't match in the first place. Also, the UV light still sucks. A million times better than the demo, but it's still a pain to use. All this, I could ignore. But the biological sample analysis is GRUELING. The rest of the game is fun even with the issues, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! And since you can't unlock more cases, you HAVE to take the ones with the DNA samples to progress. It sucks, because I was having so much fun, but I legitimately can't bring myself to continue. I'll probably do the last case that's been unlocked for me, but I will actually kill someone if I have to do that DNA analysis again. For context, you have a known sample and an unknown sample that you collected from the crime scene. The known sample gives you an entire page of sequence, but the unknown sample gives you a little snippet of a code. The thing is, you have to go through every single little detail trying to match it up. The mechanic to move it is ass, too. Just let me click on it directly PLEASE!!! The worst part is that you can WARP AND STRETCH THE UNKNOWN SAMPLE! That means not only do you have to check through every single rise and fall, but you have to WARP IT TO SEE IF ITS A DIFFERENT HEIGHT OR LENGTH!! This game is really really fun besides trudging through analysis, but I can't take it anymore. I regret buying the game, although I got some good play time out of it. I would only buy this game if it was at least half price because HALF THE DAMN CASES ARE LOCKED BECAUSE I CANT GET PAST THIS BORING ASS MECHANIC! I'm begging the devs to change it because it's such a cool game and I want to keep playing :(
This game is sponsored by german police. You can see posters that invite you to serve as a forensic specialist or a policeman. Why would I pay for such game? Also, does german police also use UV light in a fully lighted room?
It's a good game to relax. Search for evidence, put up some markers, take some photos. Everything is calm and then you get to analyze your evidence through various methods. I really like that you can revisit the crime scene in case you missed something. Runs great on the Steam Deck as well!
I will say yes if you are into simulator games. For those of you who are new, maybe try something with a little more leeway. It is really hard to take pictures of evidence if they are identified and squeezed together. I would be fine if you could take a picture of one thing, move it out of the way, then take the next picture. Also, I feel the fingerprints should have some way of auto-it when you find the first matching pair. Having to sit through 9-10 fingerprints when only 3 match is taking away the immersion for me. Overall, I was enjoying myself, but those little things were starting to bug me.
The game is actually fun and entertaining if you know what to do or actually read the tutorial, after looking at the other reviews for this game Im guessing not alot of people did that. I hope more people that like this sort of thing find this game so devs can add more levels like dlc or something. I had alot of fun playing this and it is a good game so it sucks to see that people are hating on it cause they aren't that into the genre i guess. the only thing I didn't like was that theres no inventory for a camera or evidence markers.
This game was quite fun! it has nice and (mostly) simple mechanics. if you want to play a cozy game to past the time, this is a good game to buy.
very fun
