While I personally recommend it, whether or not you should get it depends. Personally I find the mechanics super exciting and addicting, and have come back to the game multiple times over the last decade. That being said, it IS an old game-- a lot of the people still playing have played for a long time and there's a pretty big learning curve. If the game interests you and you're willing to put the time in and be frustrated for a while, then buy it! Just maybe wait until a sale. If you're looking for something to play casually, this might not be for you.
