dont play it its terrible
I've played this game for years. Starting on xbox and then coming to PC and continuing the journey. Most, if not all, of the comments about the quality of the game, are from people who aren't good at it. They spam lose and blame the game instead of doing research and trying to get better. Even if you aren't a sweaty, comp'd out player, the game is fun! The fighting is cool, the armor is unmatched, it's really a good game. People need to play on their own skill level (for a while) THEN group up with friends. I love For Honor, my main is Nobushi, I hit master for the first time ever in ranked (As highlander, not Nobu). So trust me when I say, the game isn't the problem, it's fun. It's people who think everything in life comes easy. You are literally (in 4v4s), potentially fighting a 4 person team, by yourself (situationally). In no world, IDC, should ONE guy, be able to win that on the same skill level, but guess what? The enemies aren't perfect, they'll feed revenge, they won't optimally gank, they won't play as a unit...One thing that I learned about this game (and others). Is the drama/emotion you feel towards your team, they enemies feel the exact same thing. You think "My team sucks", the guy carrying the other team feels the same way. Overall though, if you like the medieval idea, I would 100% recommend this game, the combat is so good. One of my favorite games. Hope to see you out there :D
This is the main component for my poor mental health and will be at the top of my list of reasons why im not longer on this plain of existence
this game has some of the coolest characters and best combat system yet what holds it back is the horrible skill based matchmaking because I'm barely 60 reps and i get put into games where my enemies are 500+ total reps while my team barely reaches 100 on average. Another thing is the horrible balancing with new characters or rebalancing with older characters since they always nerf the worst characters to the ground while buffing already strong characters. There is also an overwhelming amount of cheaters in this game and Ubisoft doesn't do anything about it than give them a 2 day ban then they're right back in. Don't buy this game unless it's on sale.
