Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 26.86/day in the week to Aug 14 → 33.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
As a long time FM player, I will no longer be buying new versions of this game. The interface is absolutely horrendous. Absolutely zaps any fun out of this game due to tedious time on the menus.
While it is weaker than previous FM Games, it's by far not a terrible game. I've never encountered any game breaking bugs, nor has the UI given me any issues aside from a page or two being a little too hidden.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 6: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best KR #40, worst FR #77 · 4 markets collected

Gab schon bessere Versionen.
Not recommended - even at 50% off I bought FM26 around nine months after release at a 50% discount. This review is based on roughly 25 hours of play and one full season. For context, I used to buy Football Manager roughly every two years, but I had not played or bought one since FM21 in 2022. I was expecting some adjustment after a few years away, but FM26 feels less like a modernised version of the game and more like a frustrating redesign that gets in the way of things I used to enjoy. TL;DR: I would not recommend buying this unless you really cannot wait. At the very least, wait until the end of August for a deeper sale. The biggest issue is the UI. I know this has been widely discussed, but it really does affect the experience. Setting up training feels awkward and unintuitive, and it feels like a significant step backwards from the last version I played. Keeping track of player development and adjusting training used to be one of the parts of FM that kept me invested. In FM26, I have very little desire to engage with it. This also affects youth development. I could not clearly tell what tactics my youth team were using, or how to make sure they were aligned with the first team. Youth training also seems to have been removed or hidden in a way I could not figure out. To be clear, some of these things may be possible and I may simply not have found them, but that is part of the problem. If basic squad development systems are so unintuitive that a returning player cannot work them out after a full season, the design has failed. Cup draws are another strange downgrade. I often skipped through the full draw presentation in older games, but it at least made it obvious that something important was happening. Now it is effectively just another email, and like most emails in real life, I barely notice it. The result is that I often just move from match to match without really feeling aware of what competition I am playing in. There are also various UI bugs and annoyances. In press conferences, I have had questions appear behind the reporter cards, making them impossible to read. The “manager beef” emails are another example of poor interface design: the email summary box often is not large enough to show what was actually said, so you have to click into the article card just to see the relevant comment. That is a common theme across the game: too many clicks to do things that used to feel much quicker. There are smaller frustrations too. When a match is loading, the league table appears, but the two teams playing are not highlighted. By the time I have found both teams, the screen is usually gone. I also have replay settings enabled for disallowed offside goals, but I have not seen a single replay of one I have also had the match engine get stuck in a loop, repeatedly replaying the same minute of a match again and again. The in-game editor is now £7.49, compared with £3.99 for FM21. I have not bought it for FM26, so I cannot comment on whether it has changed meaningfully, but as a returning player that price rise feels unreasonable. There are positives. Loading and processing times feel snappier to me, although I have no hard evidence for that. But faster processing does not make up for the game being less enjoyable to navigate and less satisfying to manage. A common defence seems to be that the UI has been made more console-friendly. I am not convinced. Plenty of views and screens do not even fit properly on my PC monitor, so I do not think “designed for console” explains it. To me, it just feels poorly designed and poorly quality-controlled. Overall, FM26 has made too many of the satisfying parts of Football Manager harder to access, harder to understand, or less engaging. I am sure there is still a good football management game buried underneath, but the interface constantly gets in the way of it. I would wait for the next iteration, or at least a much deeper discount.
I wish I hadn't bought FM26, but, being a female football fan for almost half a century I was thrilled that my favourite football game was finally including women's teams. My first disappointment was the inability to use a photo of yourself to create your avatar, as in years past. My second was the tacky and unintuitive changes to gameplay. The thing that has stopped me from playing AT ALL is the fact that the players for my local women's team have utterly incorrect player data, specifically completely incorrect positions. On seeking to have this remedied, I was told that on top of paying a large amount for the game I should do the game creator's work for them and give them the data to correct their player database. NOPE!
WHat can I say, I've been playing this game since it first came out as Championship Manager, and before that Football Director and Tracksuit Manager so its been a journey, but this is the first time I've asked for a refund. The UI is to "busy" on the eye, far too much going on and it all blends in, it needs to be cleaner, the 3D graphics are disjointed and unrealistic. I tried to love it, but there were far too many changes to the game too quickly. They should have just renamed it something else and just said it was an entirely new game. 1/10
