Louisiana, 1933. Thirty years ago an entire wedding suddenly & mysteriously vanished on the island of Devil's Rock, and with it went the location of the lost treasure of Bellemore Manor. To find it, you might need to die too. A cozy, story-driven, point & click adventure game of the merry & macabre.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 12 → 2.6/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

DEVIL'S ROCK
An island off the coast of Louisiana
1933
“Ever since I heard of the treasure inside Bellemore Manor I've been obsessed by it. People said the house was still haunted by the ghosts of the wedding that disappeared there decades ago, but if the ghosts knew where the treasure was hidden, I just had to ask them.
But there's more to the treasure than I could have ever expected, and now I've awakened a household of spirits who don't mind that they're dead, and an evil phantom determined to find the treasure before I do.
Fixing the situation won't just mean getting to the treasure first, but also figuring out what happened on the island all those years ago. But I have a feeling that in order to do that, I'll have to die too.”

I loved every second of this game. Point and click adventure lovers should buy this game without hesitation. The story is intriguing, the art is original and well done, and the puzzles and progression is executed very well. I have to admit I looked up a few solutions from the diary hint system. Clearly inspired by, and contains several homage sections to my favorite game of all time, the Curse of Monkey Island. Congrats to the devs and I hope to see more games from them.

If you liked the clasical point and click adventures like Monkey Island, this little indie game, although without doing anything extraordinary, is a solid and enjoyable experience from start to ending.
Foolish Mortals really scratches the itch I've had for years in wanting more games like The Curse of Monkey Island. The writing, music and voice acting are fantastic. The puzzles are just the right amount of difficulty if you're looking for an experience that doesnt leave you stuck for days/weeks at a time. Well played Inklingwood- cant wait to see what the future holds for you :)
I really enjoyed this, great story, voice action and puzzles. 10/10 I hope they make more
I lot of the old point and click games are heavily driven by quality of writing and characters. This one tries to emulate it but fails flat. Puzzles are fine but a bit overdesigned and padded with a lot of unnecessary running around. Game design shoots itself in the foot as you are provided with a large map to explore and puzzles can form a longwinded chains of interactions and can be done in parallel. Sounds like a fresh approach at first glance but it crumbles under its own weight. NPC can give you a hint and you need to remember it as there is no dialog options to recall the clue and god forbid you to take a large gap between play-sessions, as you memory will be tested a lot. Some flaws aside it could be a decent game but UX is garbage. You play the game in 2026 with a QoL worse than 1997. Last patch did alleviate some issues but it still very annoying to play. Boring story and narrative paired with clunky UX make overall experience unpleasant.
Vale apena jogar.
I love how in depth the story is and the dialogue options are. Talking to different characters thoroughly gives you an opportunity to unlock achievements you otherwise wouldn't be able to if you just speed through conversations. Sitting through and listening to everything is worth the time. I love it!
One of the best adventures I had played in recent years - graphics, atmosphere, story and dialogues - all extremely well done. It is as classic as an adventure can get, mirroring 90s style games. Remarkable as well is the game time - it is definitely one of the longer adventures. I am a rather experienced adventure player, still needed 19 hours (calm, non-rushed playthrough) to finish. These kind of adventures - let them come.
