Flux Empyrean

This game has been such a fun experience. I love exploring and searching for secrets in games so this is right up my alley. The gameplay can be a bit janky at times but the overall experience is wonderful. So far I have only reached the most common ending, and I am very excited to find the others. It is just so enriching to make the connections between random events, authors, and stories. The game has a beautiful art direction, but sometimes it can be hard to see things when it is bright. Additionally the glare during sunset can be a bit of an eyesore and is a bit immersion breaking when you can see the light shining on an interior wall. This game isn't for everyone but for the people it is for, it is amazing.

Like sailing the oceans of Wind Waker, but less of a hubbub. A solitary journey through mysteries that you may never grasp. In principle, you can learn a great deal by simply observing the starry sky. In practice, you bounce from island to island, collecting hundreds of messages that you may not understand. Some things come together, eventually, but the world is in no rush to give away its secrets. I think to appreciate this game you have to enjoy not just the larger mysteries, but also the contemplative moment to moment.

An amazing experience so far. I just loved going in without any expectation on what to find, and having to put pieces together progressively. The lore is really developed, and I feel like I barely scratched the surface after 12 hours. But the game manages to perfectly balance complete mystery and moments of satisfaction when some pieces start to come together, so the slow drip of information doesn't feel frustrating at all. If you're looking for a good mystery game to pour your soul into, and aren't afraid of somewhat minimalistic graphics, this is the game for you.

This has easily become one of my favorite games of all time, the story is so captivating. The world is amazing and pulls you right in, it feels fresh, interesting and mysterious. It really has that Outer Wilds vibe. Every puzzle had me hooked, the locations, logs, and sounds were all 10/10. I will say the game is MUCH harder then Outer Wilds, and there are many puzzles where it is just trial and error and use of the imagination. This is one of those generational games. There is roughly 30-70 hours of content depending on how fast you can get the puzzles down. With tons of locations, logs, characters, endings, and challenges. The community is amazing, helpful and extremely kind, and always remember its not shameful to ask for help. The dev is super impressive, also being kind and helpful, but he made this game as a solo dev's passion project, and created a massive. captivating game that any story lover will enjoy. PLEASE play this game, it deserves so much love, and needs to be successful.
