Game has a lot of depth to it and you immediately get hooked, it captures your wettest dreams of what a fishing simulator should be and you certainly don't need a loan shark to afford it.
I saw a cod hold a gun like a mafioso. Jellyfish still as painful as they are irl. Fish whose one arm is extremely buff, probably cause his wife was fished. Can sell the fish to the black market. Communism. You can make fish shoot themselves as if they lived in such a country. 20/20 Game of the Year.
Interesting. Would not have thought it was possible to play a relaxing bullet-hell game, yet Fishticuffs manages to do just that.

almost definitely the best fishing danmaku on the market. if you know of a better one please introduce me simple and fun, deserves more love
Fun little game with a lot more content than I can access right now due to difficulty. Could benefit from a quick tutorial and QoL improvements. Looking at your items in-game, cooldowns on passive items (the shield that turns bullets into lasers in particular), perhaps a base movement increase to make early gameplay a bit smoother. The runs where you get dps increasing items are the most fun. There's a lot of fish and your attack is single target for 90% of the game. There's also a lot of items revolving around health, when you usually lose your health in quick succession. The healing and attack on hit items feel underwhelming. Also, I don't have a lot of playtime yet, but I haven't seen a single new active item though the game implies that there are more. Perhaps something to take note of. Overall you're getting your money's worth. You didn't pay a lot, you get a simple timewaster that you could theoretically put a lot of time into.
Honestly, I have fun with this but there's a lot of things that don't feel entirely good to put up with. Your hook feels very slow, to the point of agony, and while I'm sure the late game is a blast, the early game definitely feels a bit lacking. Also, there's some items that just feel like a pain to get early on that really are only remotely viable when you have something else. Like, items that activate after damage are very common despite how liberal health is in the game. Overall though, I've had a fun time with this so far, definitely going to give it more of a shot, but there are some things I dislike, but willing to push through to see how the game is a bit further on. Definitely a very tough game, and I look forward to hopefully cracking it some time.
Great game! A lot of fun for just 5 bucks if you like fish puns and fun gameplay definitely check it out B)
Really fun game
its ok as a whole, but it's very unique and fairly cheap so it's worth your time anyway
Clever fun game.
