Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sooo, was soll ich sagen?

This is a great game with some (minor in my opinion) bugs. My review might seem a bit negative but I'm going to try to address some of the concerns others have. The controls can be a bit clunky until you get used to them and there are some random glitches, but none of these glitches seem to be persistent if you reload. For instance, I once loaded a save and had my ship fly into the air and come crashing down and take a ton of damage, but when I reloaded the same save everything was fine. Just save periodically. Never had anything major where I had to save constantly (the game seems to autosave when you fast travel to a waypoint or port). The game also has an in-game wiki that it will expect you to consult. There are some tutorials, but these mostly ensure the best result (such as a large amount of fish or lobster or whatever at the place where you do the tutorial. When you're fishing on your own, expect to do research and gather tips. All in all it's a pretty good game, and the positives of the game make suffering the occasional bug worth it. I don't feel like the bugs will be fixed at this point as the developers are a small team and working on another game right now and this game is several years old at this point. I wouldn't call this game a simulator, as things like the ship handling and the fish sonar probably don't work the way they do in real life but you figure out how to do it in game and it works for the sake of the game. Also another tip, if you're new to the game don't start on hard mode. The economy on hard mode is brutal, and will leave you in the dust as soon as tuna season is over. You'll go from making a bunch of money to grinding if you don't know what you're doing. On easy mode the fish are more plentiful and the economy is much better, but since you're going through a learning curve it will still provide a challenge. On hard mode, there are many fish types that are not financially viable unless you have a huge multi-million dollar ship that can haul them in on a large scale quickly. That makes it a lot less fun if you want to learn the different types of fishing early on (of which there are many).
fun time passer. I wasn't sure about this game but I got hooked. I do wish there was more in depth story line and game play. The game itself in fun but very simple to do everything that can be done. I've played 63 hours and have started new a few times just to challenge myself.
I wanted so badly to like this game as i did with the original, but it contsantly bugs out or crashes after every 10-15 mins. Uninstalled in the end as i have found it unplayable.
I got this on sale, thank goodness. Its fun, but when its not buggy its crashing, and when its not crashing its buggy, i couldn't imagine paying full price for this. Your starter boat is slow, and I mean slow, so save often because when you spend 20 minutes traveling to a fishing spot and it crashes and you have to spend another 20 minutes going back to that spot you get bored of it. I can't recommend this unless its a huge sale.
Is a really good game, I have enjoyed it a lot....BUTTTTT has a lot of bugs and its really annoying sometimes cause you can lose so much time put on a task just because one bug, I lost one of my first saves because I sold everything to start doing scallops and I bought the big ben, but when i tried to fish for scallops my ship would not storage it, so basically just a waste of time
