Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Re-tried this on 2025; tl;dr, get it on sale or get it if you really really have nothing else to play or love this niche, even the hunter and fishing games have more engagement than this game. Honestly lots of potential simulating all the fishing modes as well as getting to travel on board ships but the devs are small in size and have already moved on to "Ships at Sea" their newer game So most of the jank and bugs are not going to be fixed. Biggest peeve I have for this is the speed of ships and distance of points. Although it is a simulator of sorts, it is still a game and having large pockets of empty time (around 10-30 mins on slower ships) with nothing to do is not exactly my idea of fun. There should always be something to keep the player engrossed and "awake" in the game around 5-10mins each time and even with truck simulator, traffic is the one that keeps you on your toes. With this game, it is literally open empty seas with nothing to dodge or traverse with skill other than ports. There is also no time speed up or fast travel so it really drags your time in the game. I already worked with boats and ships before and love the simulator experience but not 30minutes of literal nothingness.

Enjoyable for about 2-3 hours in one sitting then you start to go crazy, multiplayer would add a whole new life to this game and would make it much more enjoyable to be able to compete with other boats like who can catch there quotas the fastest etc. seining would also add a entertaining style of fishing closer to the shore line.
This game reeks of poor craftmanship.... The devs spit out a not even half finished game and then abandons it in favour of a new one... while it is still ridden with bugs and plays more like a proof of concept demo rather than an actual game. The basic functionality of the game is so simple it's laughable... I have seen better UI and menues on one dev mobile slop games... Certain boats will do a backflip if you fast travel... and this game without fast travel is not an option... The coastal landscape is dull, dull and dull... just no effort whatsoever. The "autopilot" function does not take anything else into account... not other boats and not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ land either!. It's like they never tested it at all. while you can not place markers for the fast travel/autopilot on land or with land intersecting, it seems happy enough to turn straight onto land if it has to do a turn when right next to land. And don't get me started on the "npc" boats that get stuck everywhere because their courses are intersecting and neither can give way or go if the other is stopped.... It is just a simple "something is in my way: STOP!" they haven't even given them the basic damned feature of one stopping and one moving. And don't get me started on the fact that the whole newsfeed from both this game and the one from before this one is just filled with updates on their new game which seems even more barebones than their abandoned games is... This is an absolute joke of a dev and should be avoided at all costs. If you want to play a fishing game there's guaranteed better ones out there... Just stay away from this slop.
I took Rudy Smith, fresh out of Lockerport School for Students with Special Needs, and somehow made him the North Atlantic's top crane and dredge operator. The fishing is so mind-numbingly slow that I started having deep conversations about life with my NPC crew members. Now we're all emotionally entangled, and I think I have found a virtual best friend in this guy. Rudy can even manage two dredge cranes at once during scallop operations—an impressive feat for a lad who once struggled to operate a spoon! 10/10, will never finish the 'catch 5,000 swordfish' achievement, but turning a fishing game into a full-on relationship simulator is more worthwhile than paying a psychologist.
Tutorial included a 5.2km drive on a boat that went 15km/h. No I'm not spending 20 minutes driving a boat in a straight line for a tutorial. Returned the game.
The best fishing game I've ever played. The game is very well developed, especially the ships. The graphics are beautiful and the physics are very good, the nights in this game also look cozy when you are in the ship in the first camera. I see only advantages in this game, but it would also be nice to have a few more ships. The weather is good and often changes quickly, but I also miss storms in this game. I recommend this game to anyone who loves fishing and isn't afraid of their computer catching fire (mine now sounds like a airplane engines)
DO NOT BUY it is a buggy games that hasn't been touch since 2021. Yeah has some great mechanics when they work. This is a massive thumbs down from me.
Great game. Awesome stuff on multi-monitor setup.
good game but we have a cheat with 1 billion mackeral but hes not in the list for most weight what a cheat... he needs to be removed from the list. im in the top 4 so i know how impossible it would be to get 1 billion mackeral and not register as most weight....what a cheat.
-- First impression review -- After recently finishing the previous game (Fishing: Barents Sea) I jumped directly to this one. First impression is great, looks like a lot is improved: passing time directory on the boat, the amount of fishing tools, fast travel but most important thing - performance is much better than in the previous one. I get no graphical stutters. I think the sea looked a bit nicer in the first game though, but I might still have to experiment with the settings. Putting sea reflections to medium actually looks better than having them at max (personal opinion). So far so good, we'll see after 10-15 hours, gonna update the review then. Btw. you have to turn the radio on manually to get the music going :D And also - big LOL at the guy who wrote negative review after claiming he needs to "drive" the boat 20 minutes for the tutorial - my dear dude, fast travel is unlocked from the start, even the tutorial tells you that xD --- after playing ~3 hours --- Sorry but this seems like a downgrade when compared to the first game. Yes, the quality of life changes are very good (autopilot, time skip etc), but to me overall the game is just not as fun as the first one. What I didn't like: - the sea physics seems to me much, much worse than in the first game, the boat sometimes jumps randomly even when there are no big waves. Also the autopilot almost capsized my boat twice at port. It looked extremely weird. - I can't get the sea to look good. In the first game the look seemed more natural to me, in this one on medium settings it feels like I'm sliding across a big pool of black goo. On maximum settings it looks even worse, like a liquid mirror. Also, the boat feels kind of "disconnected" from the water surface. I was under the impression that I'm driving a hovercraft just above the surface of water. - The new "get tips to locate fish" mechanics is not my pair of shoes. From a casual player perspective it was much better in the first one (with the colored hotspots for each fish type). I could just sail to a hotspot and enjoy the fishing. In this one, since I started with the crab boat, I mostly didn't catch anything since the crabs almost didn't show up on the radar. I don't care if this one is more realistic or whatever, to me it was just much more fun in the first game. Am I supposed to go back to port to get tips at the bar each time I want to catch anything ? No thanks in this case. Sorry, but I just can't recommend this game. I'd give it a neutral review, but there is no option for that. If you, like me, enjoyed the first one, it's not guaranteed that you'll enjoy this one. I won't ask for a refund since I got it on an extreme sale, but I don't think I'll be launching this one again.
