The team is Iraqi-born, and I am proud of what they accomplished. They accomplished all of this with very basic tools. Thank you very much; you made us proud, and I look forward to watching the game grow in the future! +hope the game get optimized on low-End laptop, for now its very great success for Dev Team,
--- See Edit below --- ***Everything below was fixed. Economy is actually viable now*** I can't recommend the game in this actual state. There's a lot of stuff that is wrong with the game starting with economy when you start the game. You cannot run and have to go back and forth between the fish shop and the ocean with only 1 fish everytime? until you get a basket to move 5 fish, a basket that cost 30 gold but you need 1 bait for every fish. 1 bait cost 1 gold, 1 fish sell for 2 gold... so it takes a while before you get there. Edit 1 : 2025-04-16 As I said above my 1st comment, economy in the game is now viable and it's actually possible to advance and enjoy the game. Game overall feel better, but I'm still not convinced. I gotta say that I do enjoy the game but the fishing rod mechanic is what's killing it, half the time the fish I get just disappear cause reeling in the fish is scuffed and they get stuck under the boat or just disappear in the void. Happy to see an update after 7 months! I hope the dev will keep working on it to polish the fishing rod mechanic. I will keep playing tomorrow, but as of now, I would not recommend it only because of the fishing rod mechanics cause I think it's highly problematic unless you just wanna play the trap business. I tried to join their discord as well to see if there's more advancement from it or anything else but the link on the store page is expired. Edit 2 : I kept playing, stopped using the fishing rod entierely with Boat lvl 1 since it was problematic and I was losing my fish half the time. I now upgrade my Boat to lvl 2 but encounter new issue. First of all, I'm using fishing net, which are great, good idea to add a pole with "Transfer fish to boat" and work really well with Boat lvl 1, but there's the 1st issue. With the boat lvl 2, I end up losing 10-12 fish out of 15 everytime I transfer them to the boat, it's like an explosion of fish and only 3-4 stay in the boat, other 6-7 just scatter everywhere in the ocean and the rest are just bugged inside the boat and it's impossible to grab them, which is really frustrating cause I was going to get the 2nd fishing net soon. Second, once you pick up the fish in the fishing net, the fish counter/timer disappear entierely so there's no way to know when you have 15 fish again and that the net is ready to be picked up? I was hopping for the beacon to maybe light up green at the top when it's ready or something like that or just have the normal timer from when you place it. Third, this one is not an issue but more feedback, I feel like boat lvl 1 should be a little bit faster, I could technically just swim and reach any island faster than using boat lvl 1. Boat lvl 2 speed is good. I think that every boat should have a "dedicated" fish basket where you can transfer fish directly on the port in another basket just to avoid losing any of the fish and help against how scuffed the fish transfer can be. All of the problem I encounter just make me feel like the game was not tested properly, I do see a lot of potential in the game if the basic of it was more polish/smooth and less scuffed. The overall gameplay is fun but frustrating with all the bug. I don't feel like I would recommend the game to any of my friend in the current state. I believe you guys stopped working on the game and you are now updating it again, I hope to see most of the bug fixed and improvement of the game overall! Mostly waiting on next update to play it again
General review for the game i personally like the art style the map and the fishing mechanics are so simple yet good the game is a bit grindy but its worth it whenever you get a access to new tool the next gets easier surely the game has glitches but its still in the very stages of early access i will be waiting for updates from the devs and i am expecting alot from them
A very excellent and fun game,You can get a lot of money in an easy way,If you think correctly, you will become rich in it. A wonderful effort ,Thank you.
The game's standout feature is undoubtedly its art style. The low-poly design gives everything a chunky, almost toy-like appearance. The environments are simple yet beautiful, with stylized trees, blocky mountains, and shimmering, geometric water. Even the fish themselves, rendered in delightful, angular forms, are a treat to behold. isn't about complex mechanics or challenging gameplay. Instead, it focuses on providing a relaxing and meditative experience. You cast your line, wait for a bite, and then engage in a simple reeling mini-game. The controls are intuitive, making it easy for anyone to pick up and play. There's a gentle progression system, with new locations, fish species, and customization options to unlock, but the pace is unhurried and undemanding. While fishing is the main draw, the game offers other activities to keep things engaging. You can explore the different environments. There are also collectibles to find, and customization options for your equipment. It's a beautiful game , allowing you to play for a few minutes or a few hours, depending on your mood. The game is a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Pros: Beautiful low-poly graphics with a vibrant color palette Simple, relaxing gameplay Charming and peaceful atmosphere Variety of locations, fish, and activities Great for short or long play sessions Cons: May be too simple for players seeking a challenge Lack of online multiplayer Final Rating: 4.5 out of 5
i like this Game it make me feel cozy and very chill nice work devs the new Update is huge and have allot of content and gamble bait make me rich i found 3 legendary fish worth 10k some bugs still but i think for early access its not allot
!WOW i really liked it The game style the map design the game idea I'm very excited for future updates Good luck for the developers and keep works on this game <3
As an indie game made by just four people, Fisherman Simulator has been a surprisingly enjoyable experience. The low-poly style gives it a unique charm, and knowing it's still in development makes it even more exciting—I’m really looking forward to future updates and new islands. If you’re looking for something relaxing and want a break from the stress of competitive online games, I definitely recommend giving this one a try.
I've spent several hours on this game, and enjoyed it a lot There are minor bugs here and there, but the devs are quick to fix them
A beautiful game, and with a good discount on the price, I was also lucky when I bought the game, and the new update was released at the same time. A beautiful game that is worth trying in terms of the environment and the tools used. Ngl the developers could add some new tiers or upgrades to the tools itself. but I liked the smoothness and mechanism of the character and environment of the game. after all I recommend it. it was a nice experience.
