This is one of my favorite VR games. Playing tennis feels real and is a great workout. It is also nice to see how the game has improved over time.
Firstly, I love that you guys constantly update the game and listen to your fans. Congrats on getting the new Wilson grip! I play tennis recreationally in real life about once a week and often use ball machines. I’ve noticed that in the game's ball machine mode, the ball doesn't always come directly to the player. Since many of us have limited space in our apartments and can't safely take a step in any direction, having an option for the ball to be fed right at me would be a great addition. It would also be excellent if the ball machine could be set to a specific side (like forehand only) but with random variety—such as lobs, drop shots, slices, and varying speeds. This randomness would keep the experience realistic and challenging even while standing in a fixed position.
I really tried to play and enjoy this game. I play tennis in real life—it's been three years, and I'm a decent player. But I can't make a single good shot in this game. The worst part is, I don’t even know why. Is it me, the controller, or the framerate? All I know is that the physics feel unpredictable.
This game can be extremely frustrating to play due to how awful auto-movement is. On numerous occasions, auto-move would place me way too close to the net as the AI opponent then simply lobbed the return shot over my head to score. In fact, this happened so many times to the point that I finally gave up. You can switch to manual movement, but I tended to do worse using that. The developer patches this game constantly and many of these patches seem to make the game worse. Several other players have mentioned this in their reviews. Physics are pretty good, but shots tend to go out of bounds quite often. The court also never changed the entire time I played (around 4 hours) and opponents always seemed to look and play the same. Overall, I ended up frustrated and bored with this game so I therefore cannot recommend it. I would much rather play tennis in All-In-One Sports VR.
Best game ever. Been playing since beginning on my Riff. Thanks for such a great game that keeps getting better. Responsive developer with regular updates. Enjoyable and gives a good workout! Love it and highly recommend!
it kinda like tennis
--- ENGLISH I bought this game three days ago. The first important point to note is that the playing area needs to be well laid out, otherwise you risk hitting walls or furniture, which can cause injuries. The shots resemble real tennis. There are several options: train with a ball-throwing machine, play matches against computer players, play matches against real players. For movement, you can choose between automatic movement or movement using the controller's joystick. Mikori Games answers questions on the game's discord, and is very responsive. I play with the VALVE index heaset. i like this game .
