The real meaning of relaxing and cozy game is this game! I like playing it before sleep it really calms my mind! I hope to see more from this lovely game and its dev!

Another review mentioned this game reminded them of Harvest Moon on PS1. I wholeheartedly agree. I really enjoyed the soundtrack and completing all the achievements was nice too. I don't have time to sink a ton of hours into games anymore, so this game was the perfect length! Thank you!

Nice chill game

Super cute little game, but will probably not hold you if you're already an enthusiast for the farming sim genre. Very simple and there's not a ton of content. Still worth a few hours of quick fun, and would be a great pick if you want to introduce kids to the farming sim genre--no combat, easy controls, and your animals can't starve. One thing I do really appreciate about the game is the focus on QoL. Wood and stone are counters instead of items, avoiding annoying issues with inventory management. There is no tool wheel, and tools do not take up inventory space--the game instead opts for a single context-sensitive action button, allowing you to fish, chop wood, mine, and water crops without fiddling with your tools. These are things I wish far more games would incorporate, and for that reason the game is very much worth playing if you're a developer in this space.

Firefly Village is a cozy farming sim, that allows you to play almost mindlessly. Because of the fast pacing the game feels satisfying after only a few hours of gameplay. There is one big flaw for me though: proposal/marriage. As a romantic person I advise other romantics to NOT propose! Enjoy the two (romantic) dates with each candidate and the stargazing instead. If you propose to the candidates ALL of them object! Some of them pretty harsh like "Can we stop this sillyness already?" Of course you can force them to marry you, but for me this was a buzz kill, especially after them being romantic with me before. I did eventually forced a candidate and I can say you truly wouldn't miss much (some new dialogue, spouse stands in your house at night, rainy days and some mornings). Overall a nice game!

Very glad I waited to play this one, as it seems like most of the complaints people have had have actually been addressed. I found this a super fun short and sweet farming sim - 100%ing it in around 6 hours. The short seasons meant that it didn't feel like a slog to loop through a second year to complete everything, the characters were cute if a little shallow, and the controls were intuitive and smooth.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this game is a breath of fresh air. If you are the type like me that sometimes gets overwhelmed by other games in this genre having too much to do, map too big, quests expiring, or being punished for a fish getting away, you will appreciate this gentle and sweet farm game. It's not a massive experience, but its very peaceful, cute and relaxing. The very definition of a cozy game. The events, npcs, and animals are adorable. The controls are easy to user friendly. There are no stressful or difficult tasks or punishments.This game is like sitting back and sipping a cup of hot cocoa. I absolutely love it and I hope the dev continues working with it. I would love if they added some kind of in game collection log, and more things to collect. I just made it to winter (be warned your crops will die) and I can't wait to see what else there is to this game, after I save up enough to expand the farm.
