so nice

Final Word Royale is a fine example of how someone can take a widely-loved game (Wordle) and flip it upsidedown (in a good way). This game is everything I wanted in a Wordle upgarde: time-sensitive, psychological horror, and online multiplayer ability (it can also be played solo). Yes, it was disapointing on release day that there was nobody online to play against; however, as said previously you can play it solo. Plus, I'm a streamer so really I played with my community who were throwing guesses via chat anyways as we dragged ourselves across the finish line lol. The only cons I have for this game are that the letter boxes should be changed to more obvious colours; my community and I were finding it difficult to tell if a box was yellow (correct letter wrong location) or green (correct letter and location) which is literally the whole game so I hope they patch that. The only other "con" -which may actually be a pro for people who are better at the game than I- is that the words you are guessing are quite challenging. They don't feel "common" so to speak which like I said, maybe someone who obliterates Wordle-type puzzles everyday is bored and would welcome this challenge. Lastly, the 1V1 mode is very cool! Go up against someone for who can guess the word first is both exciting and nerveracking; especiall since you get a finger cut off if you lose! It was hard to play this mode while streaming with my community's input because of the stream delay and how quick that game mode is. Honestly, a really great game for only a few bucks. If daily puzzles and horror are your things you're sure to love this! Happy typi..n... *gets finger cut off*
Final Word Royale is a pvp typing game... Does it sound familiar? Well, it basically tried to use the hype of Final Sentence before that game was released, being blatant copy (I mean, they didn't even try with the name). Is it a bad game? Well, not really. Even if it copied a lot of aspects, it managed to be somehow different and for a pretty cheap price. This game counts with 2 modes, where the objective is not directly to type faster than your opponents. The first mode is basically pvp Wordle, where you need to guess the 5 letter word with the same rules (where the game will tell you if any of the letters you typed fits the word). In this mode, the first one who gets it right wins and all the others lose. Now, you not only lose like that, if you make 3 mistakes (one mistake being typing a word that doesn't exist) you get to play russian roulette. The second mode is honestly the most interesting one, but also the one with the most issues. It basically works as a tournament, where you have 1v1 duels and you need to beat your opponent by making them lose all of their fingers (that idea is sick). You do this by playing scramble minigames, where they show you a bunch of letters in a random order and you need to form a word with them; if you fail, you lose a finger; if you get it right, the enemy loses a finger; if you run out of time, both lose a finger. The main issues with this mode is that, if you fail, you don't get to see the right word (being a huge issues because sometimes it really looks like there's no word, so you can't stop thinking that it might be broken), the second bad aspect is that you only have 10 seconds to guess, ebing a giant pain when the word has 8 letters. Also, you keep your lost fingers for your next duel. Anyways, pretty flawed, yet interesting concept that I honestly enjoyed a lot playing it with friends. Sadly, the game lacks a playerbase right now, so it's really rare to find players online, but the game will fill the lobby with bots (with that being said, in almost every server I found at least one non-bot player). Because of this review should probably be negative, but I don't really blame the game for that (should I?). And, even if there's barely any players, you can still play it with friends and enjoy it. I hope they can make of this a better game, fixing some issues and polishing others. You can check out some gameplay here if interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTuwYTY3mJU
